The whole Electric Arguments album.

Macca should write a song called 'Under appreciated'. Or 'Rare Gem' I shall nominate Lonely Old People as a sick song often forgotten about. So beautiful I can't even listen to it sometimes, too pure.
-
Lonely Old People is also one of my favourite Paul songs. As you said it's just so beautiful and poignant, just an overall amazing song. Another song that I think deserves more recognition is "Little Woman Love". I think it's such a catchy, funky song, and I love the middle eight. I really like this performance where it's merged with C Moon (another brilliant, under-appreciated song too, in my opinion )

OMG...so many great songs that we will never hear him do live.

I know! I still live in hope that one day we may get a rarities tour!

Going to add this one to the list too, Mary Had a Little Lamb :
Although this song may be considered to be a bit "quaint" or "twee", I think this is a truly beautiful version by Paul. Especially love the high parts Paul sings in the background during the "La la" section. -
This is slightly off-topic but since we were discussing Take It Away earlier in the thread, I thought I'd post this cool clip I came across on YouTube earlier of Paul rehearsing it with Linda! I loved hearing just how much effort Paul puts into getting everything about the song perfect!

But ya know , the truly underappreciated Paul song (by the public and critics, not fans) is Silly Love Songs.

"Maxwell's Silver Hammer", "Honey Pie", "When I'm 64", & "Roccy Racoon" are all under-appreciated, imo. Paul was being very innovative & creating a new genre of pop music with these songs, that only Ray Davies of the Kinks could match. The fact that John & George didnt "get it" added to why they were overlooked at the time.

Rainclouds and I'll Give You A Ring I agree are brilliant. How about these other B-sides: -I Want You To Fly (2005)
-Growing Up, Falling Down (2005) -I Lie Around (1973) -Check My Machine (1980) Plus a few album tracks I like a lot: -That Would Be Something (1970) -When The Night (1973) -She's My Baby (1976) -The Pound Is Sinking (1980) -Distractions (1989) and... -Bip Bop (1971) -

Can't believe these morons are talking in the background and not listening to Paul (raptly)

Everything on Flowers in the Dirt and Off The Ground. Particularly The Lovers That Never Were. I LOOOOOVE that song. Elvis Costello was a good writing partner with Paul. I wish they'd collaborate again.
-
I think even Yesterday is under-apreciated. Certainly not the most under-apreciated, lol... but still underrated...

Couldn't agree more.

Agree. The title song "Off the Ground" is very, very nice too

Another few under-appreciated ones I love: - Spies Like Us:
- Pipes of Peace: - My Brave Face:
