What an incredible few days for me. Now on bus heading home! This surprise today was just totally surreal! Pinch me! "Queenie Eye" is my favorite song on album so far. I've been singing lines at afternoon! How can any song with Bitches, Snitches, and Witches, in the lyrics not be a hit?!!! This has been one of the best few days I've ever had!!! I tired sooo hard to get there but it was impossible. I literally heard the news, left class (lol) then sprinted all the way to the train. I was like a bat out of hell when I got out of the train at 42nd st. Lol but there was no way, it had ended like while I was still on the train heading there.

Hi Kimsey, how are you? Yes, I was lucky enough to make it to Times Square for the mini concert. Really enjoyed the NEW songs, and seeing some old friends!

I follow Paul on Twitter, but I don't use Twitter. I only get email notifications when someone posts something to Twitter, which means I'd have to be logged in at the time. I'll have to see if it can come to my iphone via text message or maybe an email alert. As it is, I would have needed at least three hours notice to catch a train from Phila to make it there in time. I wish he would send a special "advance notice" to his loyal fan club fans. Thanks for the reply.

I know it's unfair to judge a crowd by a few rows but how can people not be jumping and dancing? If I made it to something like that I would be a complete bouncing idiot -

It was quite a decision at last second! I prefer taking photos, but was thinking it was so unannounced that majority of people I saw only had smartphones. I know my phone takes terrible photos and video. I chose going for video with my camera. My thought was that where it records video in HD, I could always capture stills off frames. I think it was a good decision. I am glad everyone likes! I was in the city because a great friend won tickets for Frank Sinatra School and invited me. We intended to take bus home after the show, and work Thursday. Instead, we were encouraged to stay an extra day. Told something was in the works, not told what, but that we wouldn't regret if we stayed. Man, I am glad we did!!! In morning we were searching the Internet and there was nothing! We were thinking we were mislead! It was totally unannounced, till 1 hour before. Our hotel was just 1 block from Times Square. People were excited and jumping and dancing, but not as many as a regular concert. A good majority were tourist, who just happened to be there. Four people next to us just arrived from Australia, they had just dropped bags at hotel and were wandering Times Square because they could not check-in till 4pm. They saw an Event Staff worker and asked what was going on and were told "Paul McCartney is going to perform, stick around! Shhhh! (Put his finger to mouth) I did not tell you!" They were so excited as Paul hasn't been to Australia in so long. Couldn't believe their luck!!! One said she saw The Beatles in Australia with Jimmy Nichols (Ringo was having tonsils out). Most people were tourists and NYC workers who stumbled or heard about it. It was terrific! Very much what The Beatles on the rooftop in London were like. A surprise to everyone!
