Funny about opinion, i think Everybody Out There wipes the floor with Save Us which rocks but is completely tuneless.

Tend to agree, Save Us is very average, hope the CD version is much better, Everybody Out There has a OTG B-side vibe to it...which is a good thing IMO as I rate OTG songs highly. However more worryingly for me is that having listened to 3 songs now there has been nothing thats blew me away yet, still i remember feeling the same way about OTG & Chaos at first & now i rate them very highly.

Apart from a couple of songs OTG is still poor, but you're correct some of the B sides were good especially Kicked Around No More which is a long lost classic. Like you i'm hoping the recordings of the songs add something that's missing from the strained live versions.

Paul should open his upcoming concerts with "Everybody Out There". It's a great song, the tour is called "Out There" and he would be promoting the new album. Last time he did that was in 1989/90 with "Figure Of Eight"!

Agree about the "Everybody out There" & the "Hope of Deliverance" connection. The "Hey"'s was a complete turn-off for me however. Especially after he repeats it 4 times near the end of the song. It's like he's trying too hard to be catchy, but it's irritating to my ears anyway. "Save Us" is the better sounding song, imo.

I loved all the new songs, but this one is really sticking in my brain. Catchy as heck! Anyone able to decipher the lyrics to the second verse? Something like: I got a feeling there's a (___???) rhythm beating in me / when I'm close to you I've listened to that section a dozen times and I can't quite put it together.
