More like: Has he not ever been from under a rock...ever????

I was able to see a live version of Wonderful Christmas Time and the crowd went absolutely crazy! And my children use to scream the 'ding dong' section and loved singing the song. So, do I agree that the song is a bit silly; yes, but a wonderful song for the season. Merry Christmas all!

I just hunted down the Straight No Chaser version and listened to it for the first time. It does have a certain charm that the original lacks -- I do not miss those synthesizers at all. But it's still never going to be one of the great Christmas records. I'll take John's "Happy Christmas (War is Over)" any day.

It's so refreshing that while out shopping in London, I've heard Wonderful Christmas time played in shops 4 times now, and the dreaded Happy Christmas zero times. The latter just depresses me.

Bruce M.:
This is one of the few Paul songs that I find just totally annoying.
I agree and it is usually on the list of worst Christmas songs ever made unfortunately.

A bit slapdash, but it still feels nice that people seem to enjoy and expect hearing it around this time of year.
