Anything of One Hand Clapping, the voice there is the best I have ever heard Otherwise there's Too Many People, Back Seat, Tomorrow & Helter Skelter for example.

Very hard question but will say Golden Slumbers. Love how it starts silky smooth and changes to the very raucous parts. Paul had so many kinds of vocal. I don't think anyone has used their voice in so manny diverse ways.

Listen to the song they sing,
          Awakening

Most diverse vocalist I know. Theres something for everyone. It also depends on what you want or prefer from his vocal in trying to find out his best. Monkberry Moon Delight to Wanderlust. Helter Skelter to Mamunia Only Mama Knows to Put It There. Too hard a question I think.

            Sir Paul McCartney....Thank You!!

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'm going with "Goodbye". The vocal fits the story the song tells, and it's gorgeous.

                My lyric video for "New":

When Paul's voice had fully matured in the early '80s, he possessed tremendous vocal control. I often cite "The Pound Is Sinking" as a fave because it contains a bit of all of Paul's various "voices," and he does them well! The bridge is classic Paul, vocally. Amazing screaming.

You mean the part "Oh it didn't happen! Only for a minute! Your heart just wasn' in it anymore....." That part gets me. Every. Time. Other great vocals: If we are talking Beatles then Helter Skelter and I've Got A Feeling. Wings/Solo: Maybe I'm Amazed Every Night Junior's Farm No More Lonely Nights The Pound Is Sinking (from above post) Figure of Eight Footprints Those are the ones I can think of great and varied vocals that really stand out to me.

It's interesting that people tend to go for the flashier, showier vocals as best -- a common tendency, and also what makes "American Idol" such a mediocrity factory. There's something to be said for those, of course, but the ones that really get me are the ones where he keeps it straighforward and simple: Hey Jude Let It Be Blackbird Junk Here Today
