This might be old news but I just discovered it! Can you guess the sample that was used for this song?

Wasn't this used in a film recently?

WOW, now that's what I'm talkin about!!! What a GREAT tune....I remember that one so well. Just when I think he's all about the ballads, you hear something like that, and you realize what a great rocker he is as well. Thanks for posting ....just awesome!

Paul performing "Her Majesty" live QE2's Golden Jubilee 2002 Paul McCartney performed the song live from Buckingham Palace Gardens, June 3, 2002, as part of the celebrations of the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

I feel sick

He was actually criticised in the UK for doing this. It was seen in some quarters as disrespectful. Paul is known to be a Royalist, so he wouldn't have meant it to be disrespectful. I think he thought that it was funny.
-
I don't see it as being disrespectful. Sometimes the British are to stuck up for their own good. I don't see how you can have royalty and still call yourself a democracy.
-
The monarchy have no political power whatsoever- they had the good sense to give it up long ago. All the power is in the hands of our democratically elected government hence us being a democracy. The Queen is head of state but this largely involves symbolic and ceremonial duties. It also means our head of state is non-political - which has its advantages.
