OMG, this video/audio is fantastic! Of course his voice sounds sublime back then--he sings so effortlessly! *big sigh*

Yea...it brings back some great memories of his first tour in America! I like the extended intro to "You Gave Me The Answer"...more like the studio version on V&M album.

Great concert, with great sound Did they apply some sort of frequency filter to the vocal feed on You Gave Me the Answer to give it that old, compressed sound? Also, the drumming is looser, less tight than Abe Laborial, probably due to a less prominent kick drum. Quite noticeable in Magneto and Titanium man and a few others. Yeah and great vocals - no feeling of "will he reach it?" in the line "my love does it good". Voice much sweeter then. Anyone notice the sparklers on Band on The Run? Can't see that being allowed today.

I am sure this has already been posted, but until McCartney announces new concert dates, I thought this footage very cool, especially for our friends down under.

Whoever synched the film with the soundboard audio did a masterful job. Great, great show. Jimmy McCulloch was a little more relaxed than usual. He usually seemed "in his shell" to me.

Yes, the vocal is definitely higher, clearer, younger, better. If he sang like that at the Olympics, the complainers would have to focus on something else. One thing that is far and way better now....Live and Let Die. In 1975, the lighting and fireworks were weak compared to now. That song has grown and grown mightily.
