          I just read an article about the renewed interest in vinyl, and it says that there aren't enough factories to keep up with the increased demand, and no one makes the equipment anymore, so they're relying on old technology. Anyone who wants to release something on vinyl has to schedule it way in advance, or they lose out to others who planned before them. I'll bet that's what happened in this case, as well as the "New" LP last year.
