Considering coming over to the US to catch this show and then Billy Joel at MSG on the 30th. If I was staying in New York city centre, would it be reasonable to try to get back there after the gig or would it be best staying nearby for the night?

Me too, this will be his third show at Nassau. Haven't been there since it re-opened earlier this year. Supposedly there are 2000 less seats now.

Long Island Marriott Hotel is within walking distance of Nassau Coliseum...if you'd rather not drive back to the city after the show.

Has anyone bought tickets directly from the Nassau Colisseum? Are the prices less than buying them from say TicketMaster? Thanks.

Going there in person, less fees maybe. If they aren't sold out by then. It's a tough game

If you plan to go in person to buy tix from box office, check to see if they are selling on first sale day - some venues don't sell from the box office till day after they first go on sale.

Thanks guys. It's about a 3 hour drive, so I don't think I'll be going there to buy tix. Why does this have to be so nerve wracking and expensive!

OK, I'm already starting to panic about the pre-sale for the show at Nassau Coliseum. Is it on the 5th along with the other NY shows? What time does it start and do you have to log into this site with your regular password or the special one for the pre-sale? Totally losing it already!

ops:Pre sale is Monday for this site. Access link is under Paul's tour page on his site or through the sticky thread yet to be made here on the board. It is at 9am along with all the other NY shows. Best of luck.

Thank you so much. I can never get through on a pre-sale. When I log in I get to a page that says something like, please wait, don't refresh this page or you'll lose your place in line. I've waited over a couple hours and never get to the page where you can actually buy the tickets. How long is too long to wait? Thanks again.

I got 2 tickets for the Nassau Coliseum show through the Ticketmaster general sale. I can't afford to pay the insanely high prices. The first tix that came up were nosebleed seats so I just took them. I'm not happy about sitting that high up, but at least I'll be able to be there. Anyone else get tix today?
