best band members since the Beatles

I'm not technically inside this, but I have the impression that Laurence Juber may stand out in a way by being more than a rock guitarist, I can imagine he alone on the classical guitar and it sounds fine.

But I think perhaps the most memorable co0ntribution by any guitarist is Henry McCullough's solo on "My Love". It's sort of classic.

Yeah, I love that one!

Well, I think the only one who comes close to being "a Beatle" is Denny Laine. He put his stamp on Wings, Those who have played for McCartney since 1989 are good musicians but more like session musicians than band members, I think. It is perhaps not A Band.

Using band members from after the Beatles who do you think would be the best four of them all to make the ultimate line up. That's folk from Wings plus the McCartney solo albums and tours Guest appearances don't count just band members
Drummer - Abe Lionel Rhythm guitar - Denny Laine Lead Guitar - Jimmy McCulloch Key board - Wix
I would consider Rusty or Robbie over Jim. Abe, Denny & Wix for sure.

The lads now have been a band longer then any of wings and the Beatles shame they are singing or writing any of the music they play it's more like a set of session musicians at times maybe that's why at times it looks like they are going through the motions

I think it would be interesting with a McCartney and his band studio album. Lots of jamming and playing, minimal production. "Driving Rain" is perhaps the closest but they had not played together before. It sounds a bit like exercise before the tour, like "Wild Life".
