According to a French TV 12000 seats were sold yesterday morning. I don't know how many on the presales day. -

Me too!!! I'm going to Marseille with 3 other friends !! I'm going all the way from Barcelona with a little stop in the middle of the road to take this 3 friends and then straight to the Velodrome. We all have pelouse Or and ready to warm the concert

Well done ! I'll be catching a train in Paris in the morning, not sure how early I'll be there to queue up. It seems PELOR is separated in two, now it may only be for entrances. Last year for the Stones at the Stade de France you can chose which side you were on.

Can anybody recommend a hotel near the venue, please? I've never been to Marseille before & I'm afraid I'll end up miles away from the venue

Totally unique hotel within walking distance (about 1km) called "Hotel Le Corbusier" : https://ssl15.ovh.net/~gerardin/hotel/ reasonable at ?79 for the Cabin room too, I checked they still have two rooms on the 5th.

I'm still seeing two rooms on the 5th for one or two nights. A bit of a spin for you! Marseille has a bit of a bad rep but it's a great town as we found when we went there in 2013 and 2014. Nice metro and bus system to get around. There is even a little know shuttle bus to Cassis for something like ?8 that leaves from next to the Velodrome.
