I thought people might be interested to know that Apple Music (which is Apple's streaming service, like Spotify) has a playlist called Paul McCartney: Deep Cuts. I know that people will dispute some of this, but some of the choices are undeniably cool. I agree with all of those as deep cuts for most people.

It's a nice list, but it's strange to call them "deep cuts," since nearly half were singles.

But most of these singles never get played these days. I guess that's their rationale.

Never mind being the Apple Play List, I just wish those songs were Paul's current set-list.

Wembley Empire Pool, London  (Wings) 21st October 1976.

'Take It Away' video shoot Elstree studios, London 23rd June 1982.

'Give My Regards To Broad Street' film premier, London 29th November 1984.

Docklands Arena rehearsal concert, London 5th February 1993.

Run Devil Run launch party, Equinox Club, London 30th September 1999.

              O2 Arena, London 22nd December 2009.

              O2 Arena, London 5th December 2011.

___________________________________________________________ So true Kestrel. Now that is a concert I would pay to be in the 1st row.

Maybe, but by that definition anything by any artist too old to be big on the radio is a deep cut. If these are deep cuts, what would they call Mr. Bellamy, Friends To Go or That Day Is Done?

Real deep, sore and gaping cuts, like beyond the fix of a band aid or a bandage or the immediate attention of a surgeon? Insert smiley face

"If these are deep cuts, what would they call Mr. Bellamy, Friends To Go or That Day Is Done?" Exactly. "Mr. Bellamy" is the classic deep cut song IMO.

                        Maybe I'm amazed !!
