If you have a quote either from a song that Paul wrote or from an interview that he did. It can be funny, serious or whatever that you think speaks to you the most. OKAY here is one that I found very profound in a book I've read. THIS IS what Paul says about teaching his children values about appreciating ordinary people.
"I don't want them looking down on ordinary people. I see that as the main danger when you get money, especially inherited wealth. you start to think, 'well, I'm better than him anyway, I've got more than him,' and you tend to look down on him... so my kids go to ordinary schools in order for them to learn how it is first. then if you want to be terrific and privileged afterwards, you can handle it. You've got some humanity and compassion with it. so I'm trying to bring them up to have values, to have heart, more than anything...... I want them to actually care, you know, if someone gets hurt. And they do. They're very good kids like that".

I always appreciated that Paul and Linda sent their kids to what we call in the US public schools (not the elite schools that rich kids attend and parents pay tuition). Probably the biggest draw to The Beatles was that they were all so down to earth--didn't put on airs. I have some Paul quotes that I really like in my files. This lyric from "My Valentine" I love: "What if it rained? We didn?t care. She said that someday soon the sun was gonna shine.? ? ?My Valentine.?

I love this one. ?You know, I'm not one of these people that just because I've done all that I now become Superman. You can't touch me. You know, you can touch me. I'm very, unfortunately, very reachable,?

This isn't actually a quote. A meant to be funny. He was live for a concert in North Carolina on TV. It was Charlotte. He said I guess that makes you all Charlotians" He then snickered and said "I probably shouldn't have said that"

an adaption he made to Gandhi's quote - ?You can judge a man's true character by the way he treats his fellow animals.? and of course "If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be vegetarian" one can only hope it would not have to wait on that though.. enough is known and shown already. ignorance is no longer an excuse..

"If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian" I think this phrase changed the life of many persons (including me)
