Hi oobu24! I was just joking. I wouldn't want Paul to go completely bald or to shave his head on purpose, lol That wouldn't be a good look for him at all... and he'd probably agree! Was just being silly in saying that no matter how he chooses to style himself--beard or no beard-- I'd always think he looks great.

Oh he's had a few questionable looks (hair color & also style...like the length on his forehead) but he bounces back. But back to the beard...I don't think I've ever seen much of a 5 o'clock shadow either.

I guess it was the bald as a cueball that got to me. There are some handsome cue balls out there IMHO... Sean Connery, Bruce Willis, Yul Brenner, The Rock!! If Paul were to go bald at some point, he would still be very handsome!!

I think if his natural hair color isn't dark anymore, then there wouldn't be the same degree of visible 5 o'clock shadow... a white or light gray hair color would blend in with his skin color more I think, and be less noticeable.

Since Paul didn't go bald, it's hard to even imagine it! I agree, a lot of bald guys are hot, like the Rock (Dwayne Johnson), Vin Diesel, etc.! -

Gorgeous photo! Thanks for posting, Nancy! The photo looks like it's from the late 1970s, judging by his hairstyle, and that he's wearing a Wings necklace. This isn't a shadow one, it's more stubble

I LOVE the Let It Be beard.. I think the "beard" is a very useful tool. Can make one look younger and can make one look older.... Works brilliantly for Ringo. I wouldn't mind seeing another scruffy version of Paul.

Hi Nancy, Did a quick search... The photo dates from 1976 - a photo from same session was used for the cover of the June 17, 1976 issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Maybe the photo you posted was part of the article about Paul in that issue?

Yes, I like the Let it Be look as well, or as I like to call him from that time Dreamy Bearded Rooftop Paul... (Rooftop because he was bearded in the Beatles final rooftop concert)... I think he looks good no matter what, but if he were to grow another beard I don't think he'd look bad at all
But whatever is comfortable for him is what's important. -
