I've told my parents older friends about this show possibly happening and they keep saying well you have to get me tickets so we all sit together. Sorry, getting more than 2 tickets just makes your chances a whole lot harder getting in the door.
I agree. I know it sounds selfish, but you need to get your seats and then help your parents' friends to get tickets after you have yours! If this Pittsburgh rumor holds to be true, I'm probably going with a group of 4 people, but we are going to split it 2 and 2. I'm just not chancing it! When I'm at a McCartney concert, I don't pay attention to who I'm with anyway!
As of now I could be a group of 3...that makes things slightly harder...but it could just be me and my grandmother. Nothing in stone yet. Hard to plan for a concert tha doens't exist
Seriously! All this speculation is driving me crazy! As of right now I would only need two tickets, one for my hubby and me. But it also depends on when the date is. If it ends up being in July, I won't be able to go. (Baby's due at the begining of July). I should be able to go in August or September tho...

If the show is at Consol Energy Center, then it won't be till August. And congrats on the addition to your family

I saw this article this morning and nearly shat myself. I do believe we are getting closer to a confirmation!
I hope so. Scott Mervis (who wrote the article), is the pop music beat writer for the Gazette, so maybe he has some insider info (I think somebody even speculated that in a comment on the article), but it sounded like it was more speculation...but the first lines really made it sound good: "As The Beatles once sang, "I gotta feeling!..." I gotta feeling we're going to get a Paul McCartney date here sometime this summer." Man, I hope so.! I live near Pittsburgh and Cleveland so I was hoping he would add one of those...I'm definitely going to this if it happens. I'll get tickets one way or another! Maybe he'll announce it during a break it appears in his tour in May (although looks like Mexico date could be in there), or after all of the announced dates are finished...I don't know..IF it happens, of course.

Yeah, the one month notice is becoming the Paul McCartney norm as of lately. All we can do is save up to be safe! I miss the days of knowing 3 months ahead and having a nice long countdown on my calendar.. Literally.. I would have it marked on my calendar to pump me up even more (as if I needed to be any more excited!)

True...although do the officials at the Consol Energy Center have any say when an official announcement will be made? Since it is the opening of their new arena they may want to announce it earlier..? I'm trying not to get ahead of myself since this isn't official but I'm excited about it potentially happening!

They could! Just to hype it up even more. IF it's happening, and IF they want to announce it somewhat early, I'd guess it would happen around the time the Pens season ends.. they are in the playoffs, so who knows when this will be. Next week is the last regular season game at the Mellon Arena so that's a big thing.. But I'd speculate that any big Consol Energy Center announcements would occur around the time that the last hockey game happens at the Mellon Arena. Out with the old, and in with the new! I could be wrong.. this is just my personal speculation.

Yeah...I just hope really hope he does this, like really bad. I can't afford to go to NY like last year...I'm already going up for RIngo's B Day concert with the all stars. So Paul- COME TO PITTSGURGH!!!

Those are the only 2 I've heard all along. I thought Bruce Springsteen was touring, but I guess I was wrong and looking at last year's tour dates for him! I haven't heard his name mentioned either.. Just Paul and Bon Jovi.. both great shows in my opinion.. but of course, I'd be pulling for Paul
