I talked to my friend who works for the Penguins yesterday and he said he hasn't heard anything about Paul coming...yet. But he is keeping his ears open for me and will keep me updated if he hears anything. He also told me he normally gets promo tickets for shows and that he would try and get me some. I'm not holding my breath for that tho. Now if he can get me backstage to meet Paul that would AWESOME! But once again I'm not holding my breath for that either.......
Are they hearing it might be somebody else other than Paul or have they just not heard anything about who will be the opening act?

No news is good news! Meaning we haven't heard another name brought up.. I read that the Consol Energy Center is going to have a brand new website up and running soon... Perhaps there will be a nice announcement on there when the page is up and running!

Yeah, me too. I sat directly next to the stage in 2005 and it was amazing.. Very very close to the action, yet elevated enough to see everything. But the next time I see him, I still want to try for close floor seats. ha!..in my dreams! But I'll still try!

At Fedex I had seats all the way in the top level, but they were the dead center of the entire top part. best nosebleeds EVER!! But anyways, on our way up, we got upgraded to seats on the first level up! I was thrilled! But once I got to em they were so far around the stage you could really just see like whre rusty would be! Obvioulsy we took the seats way up

I hope we hear something soon! My friend and I are getting anxious and the thought of Paul coming back to the states is more incentive for her to push through the chemo treatments.

You're right! Having hope in something that means so much to you has got to help.. positive vibes are the way to beat it! Best of wishes to your friend.. she is certainly in my prayers over this holiday weekend.

Well, after today's concert in Puerto Rico he doesn't have a concert scheduled until June....but if this Mexico City concert is happening maybe he'll announce more dates for later in the summer along with it...just thinking...lol. I've got a good feeling about this Pittsburgh concert...it seems like every blog that speculates on who it will be..... Paul's name is always mentioned...it just seems to make sense...but we'll see!

Heck, I am excited about him coming to Pittsburgh and I don't live anywehre near you guys. It's just that this is a good thread you have going and the interstate connections from the South where I live are pretty easy, have never been to Pittsburgh (one of the few big cities I have never visited) and all of you seem like a great bunch of people. Plus, no way is he coming back to Atlanta so soon as he played it in August. I am thus primed to buy tickets when the show is announced. Keep up the great coverage, we are pulling for ya!

Hmm...good thought, I guess thats a possibility. I think these MExico City dates wil be "confirmed" this week.
