What year was this?Well we became an item in about 1990. So it was sometime before then. Footnote: She bought an old English sheepdog, they seem to be Mr McCartneys fave breed (Martha My Dear) he's had several over the years. She named the dog "McCartney", and I'm definitely not joking. She was a definite fan.
So cool! Did she just run into him on the street in London?! Paul, not the dog!
If she had the dog with her, Paul would have immediately wanted to talk to her!
I would have kept my cool, but later melted into a puddle if I had met him when he was in his late 40s (or actually any age!)🥰

@njr I can't remember now what the circumstances were as to how she met him. She told me her story over 30 yrs ago. We are no longer together. She told me a lovely story about Ringo. Every year she would send Ringo a birthday card, since she was a little girl. About 2 or 3 weeks before her 18th birthday her dad wrote to Ringo saying that his daughter's 18th birthday was coming up on the 1st December, and that she has been sending him a birthday card on his birthday for years, and would he send her a birthday for her 18th birthday. He did! She had the card framed and hung it on her wall. I saw the framed card myself.
Yoko Ono. When John was murdered, my friend Ernie decided to write Yoko a letter of sympathy, saying how sad he was about John's death, and that he was thinking of her and Sean at this terrible time in her life. A couple of months later, he got a thank you card from Yoko AND every year they swapped Christmas cards. I think that is pretty darned good. -

I wrote to Maureen Starkey in 1968 and received a reply along with a photo of the Beatles that was “machine signed.” -

Morse Moose ( And The Grey Goose) is a song about a boat, on the London Town cd. Looks like the picture of Macca was taken on a boat.
