I just finished watching the 'scope and it was the second best thing to being there. I was excited just watching my laptop and singing along. And WOW when Bruce appeared. I was floored! Surprised that they did a whole second run through of the song. I'm happy for all of you that attended. Always thrilling to see Paul and I am hopeful for a chance next year in California. (fingers crossed)

Really disappointed there was no "Rockshow". Maybe Sunday. But cool to see some changes!

Paul did read some signs saying "Long Hair in Madison Square" The floor audience was fantastically energized, reacting to every song and it drove the show even more. Paul was impressed, thanking New York several times for the "welcome". So great to hear "Day in the Life" this year, along with the surprise of Junior's Farm, Jet, All My Loving, I've Just Seen a Face and Helter Skelter. Microphone went out before Hey Jude and had to be fixed on stage, so Paul said "Live and Let Die" probably blew it out. The audience welcomed Springsteen with the "Bruuuce" call, and I think Paul did it too. Paul was clearly thrilled to perform with the Boss--great fun that he made them do it a second time. Terrific show!

Best thing about the review to me was that it seems he did pretty well vocally.

I have seen over 25 shows, and this one was fantastic! The crowd was one of the best I have seen. I was in 116 on the side of the stage and we were standing the entire night. He seemed like he was having a blast and he was very appreciative of the crowd response. He was more chatty than he has been in the past, expounding on his stories. The acoustic set was amazing and You Won't See Me was a real highlight. I loved the story behind I Want to Be Your Man and the song (which I had never heard played live) rocked the house. A Day In the Life brought the house down and when Bruce and Little Steven appeared it was just the icing on the cake. The Garden emptied at approximately 11:40 and the place was buzzing. Every conversation we overheard was what an amazing night it was. Even after seeing so many shows since 1991, he still delivers and there is no place in the world that I would rather be than at a McCartney concert!

Thought he did wonderful too! Was so proud of him! Especially loved hearing "All My Loving" and "A Day in the Life / Give Peace a Chance," and when Bruce Springsteen appeared, well, there aren't words to describe it. Was a really great concert! He seemed in really good voice, and always love hearing him "tickle the ivories" as they say, lol. He's such a great piano player!
A poster on another board mentioned that the Eastman family attended the concert last night. They must have been the family members that Paul acknowledged before singing "1985". They've always had a close bond with Paul of course, and Linda's father and brother, in my opinion, have always been wonderful guardians of Paul's business aspects and legal interests. -

EXCELLENT as always! Let me get my only two complaints out of my system now: No "Venus and Mars" BOO! and, as usual, the crowd around me was lethargic. It was like the only boring section in the whole venue. There were people in and out the entire night, I can't even pinpoint one song. Especially off the floor too! BUT as the front row of the section, the view was unbelievable. They were spectacular seats to say the least. I also had the pleasure of meeting "puppywhimpers" on our way there! Rock on sir! Now for the concert itself, Paul was in excellent voice all night. It was the best "Maybe I'm Amazed" I've heard since 2012. I don't know what he's doing but it is working on this leg. He really took a fast 180 from July in Tampa. Paul and band were on point and then some tonight. He flubbed one lyric on "Band on The Run" whilst reading the great Rick Glover's sign!
I was very appreciative of the rotations as was my grandmother and girlfriend. There were some songs they had never had before because of that like "Jet" and "Junior's Farm". They pack a greater punch than "Save Us" and "Letting Go". Also "All My Loving" brought the house down as did "A Day in The Life" and "Give Peace a Chance". I was thoroughly shocked by Bruce Springsteen and Steve Van Zandt. However, I did have a little heads up on it. As "Hey Jude" was ending I noticed a bright flash light to my right, I looked over and the section across from me (like 20 feet?) is an usher guiding, you guessed it, Bruce Springsteen, down a stairwell at the bottom of the section to walk around to the sidestage....he was probably there most of the night and I had NO idea! Security was extra high, but I thought that was just a New York thing. Anyway, I'm not certain why they did it twice...it seemed like out of the four guitarists up there, nobody knew who was playing the solo either time. But it was a super cool surprise nonetheless, I'd bet anything Billy Joel is on for Sunday night. And last but not least, GREAT Merch! There is lots of special NYC merchandise. We got cool shirts (and matching wrist bands) that spell out all of the NYC dates and venues in the Subway Lettering font. It's very unique, so I was sold! They also have special lithographs for each venue at $60 OR you can buy all five for $350 with a special case...needless to say, I passed. Anyway, thank you SO much Paul for an absolutely beautiful night. After all my ranting on here, it was meaningless. Paul is the man and it never gets old in the moment when Paul and the band are on 200%. I hope and pray with all my heart that I can indeed "See ya next time" for a #15 concert.

Fantastic show, Paul in NYC is the best thing. Loved every second of it. Bruce was fun. I saw him in the stands. so I knew something was coming. Paul kept mentioning how special it was to be in NYC, and the show reflected that.

Watching on YouTube, that was probably the best "Give Peace a Chance" I've heard from Paul since the World Tour days. Seems like he got into it a bit more since it's been awhile.

I've got a hunch that Bob Weir maybe the special guest for Sunday night. He is in town doing a speaking engagement in the city at 11am. Billy Joel maybe the guest for the closing show of the NY run at Nassau
