I liked it a lot myself. He sounds so thoughtful and articulate. Funny thing: One of his quotes from the article -- about beards -- is getting retweeted a lot on Twitter:

"Having a beard is natural. When you think about it, shaving it off is quite weird."

        ... I wish he'd grow a beard again!!! (A nice gray one. )

IT WOULD LOOK AWESOME!!! God, if there's one thing I'm tired of, it's seeing people all over the Web slag Paul off for the dyed hair. Gray hair and a beard is the way to go.

We need someone very good at photoshop. Take his old beard, gray it up & transplant it onto the 70 year old Paul. And put some gray in his temple area.

its pretty hard to believe that the same artist that appeared on the jubilee concert last week was the same artist that appeared on the RAM album. wow...could paul mccartney sing in 1971. if there is a better album ever released of pure amazing vocals and harmonies by anyone ive never heard it. actually i think the strength of song on RAM is good but not amazing..however the production and quality of vocals and harmonies are pretty sublime.

What does everyone think of Thrillington? Taken me awhile to get around to really listening to it. I don't like the little vocal add on, the humming on certain songs, gets on my nerve. Some of the tracks are quite good--I think Eat at Home works best with it's steel drum that gives it a reggae feel and the jazzy brass. Very nice indeed.

Monkberry sounds best of all, I think, compared to the stereo version.

Michelley.I have only ever heard it from a download with a crappy bit rate,so was sounding amazing to me.But,i think i have blown my speakers.I will have to give it another few listens to put my finger on what the differences are.

Thrillington is one of the most joyful things I have ever listened too! Incredible!! Get rid of that bloody DJ and play this on loop before the shows!

John Thrillington has always been a favourite of mine, I wish he would do a Thrill 2 (after the new album of course) lol Ram is so different from other Paul albums, i'm trying to figure out which other album this make - over would work on? maybe McCartney or Red Rose Speedway?

Ram is now at No. 124 on the Billboard main chart (down from No. 58 last week). But fyi, Ram did better than some other recent reissues. Ram debuted at No. 24. But this week, the Yellow Submarine soundtrack reissue came out and is only at No. 55 and Paul Simon's Graceland reissue debuted this week at No. 51. So Ram kicked a little butt in the reissue competition! And Kisses on the Bottom continues at No. 8 on the Jazz Chart after 19 weeks.
