Mine arrived yesterday, all the way from England. (Ordered from the Book Depository, where I've gotten other Paul/Beatles related books I couldn't find near me.) Haven't read all of it, yet, but it's a nice little book! I liked the opening line: "He is the most ordinary of extraordinary men: a historical figure with a common streak, a genius who's still not entirely sure where it all comes from, or came from."

Sorry, I don't know. I always order more than $25 from Amazon, so I get free shipping, that's why I use them, plus have had no problems with any of the numerous products I've bought.

Just to let everyone know that there is a softbound copy now available, just saw it at the local Publix for $14.99, think the Canadian price is $17.99. The cover shows Beatle Paul, looking skyward, probably from the Hard Day's Night time period. I wasn't too boiled over with it, as it treats his solo and Wings years (FORTY YEARS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD) as an afterthought. Nice photo of Linda on a horse with him helping her down, looks like it was taken in the 1990s. Sort of sad to see that. Lots of Beatle pics, good exterior shot of his Liverpool home now on the National Register. .

I got the hardcover book today, it's very nice. I like the picture of Paul and Linda with the horse a lot.

I didn't buy it but my wife (not a huge fan and thus never on here) knows I am interested in it as she was in the store with me when I found and thus will probably make it part of Father's Day gifts. I am one of these guys that doesn't need or want much of anything, which frustrates her when it comes to gifts, so she will jump on this (I HOPE)

I think $15 for this is shameful. Much as I love Paul, I won't be getting it. Except maybe a used copy down the road. Time...you suck to exploit Paul's birthday like this.

$15 is for the softcover. Stamped with $14.99 on the back! The hardcover was $20. Just seems a little steep when I did not see anything new in there. I did not look too closely though. When I saw the price quickly put it back. case I get too many fingerprints on it and they make me buy it.

Mine arrived today. Its a nice book with nice pictures but FAR, FAR too beatle heavy. Atleast 2/3s of it is all pre-1970. Then you maybe get 15 pages making up the next 42 years. Pretty shameful tbh.
