That guy needs to remember he may want to do the same sort of things when he is 70. I wish I had half Mick's and Paul's energy at my age. They are older and seem to be in a lot better health than I am love doris

From what I've heard Doris he is around their age. I don't know. I heard he is a fan of theirs but he still wants Paul and MIck to retire. He is probably a baby boomer if he isn't 70 yet. Even Grace Slick said old people rocking and rolling is pathetic. IT is great to see Paul rocking and rolling at 70. It gives us hope an inspiration to get old. I hope I can move around like Paul and Mick when I'm 70.

I believe in letting people do what they want as long as they aren't hurting anybody. So letting the 70+ rockers perform, hey, who they hurting? For some reason, that poem the Red Hatters quote about being an old lady and wearing red with purple and spitting is coming to mind. I guess it's not just for old ladies anymore, those ideas.

"I don't like you" "I'll get over it"

However, I do think it's high-time that Iggy Pop start wearing a shirt on stage.

                I thought that awhile ago.

Hi everybody I was told today that somebody wrote an article in my local newspaper saying that Paul and The Rolling Stones and The Bee Gees and the old rockers should retire since they are 70 years old and they still dance around like teenagers. I said what does that guy know and the person told me he knows because he is a fan and the same age and said that they can't act like teenagers anymore and their audience is disappearing. The guy thinks it is pathetic that hey all still do this stuff at 70. I don;t buy into it,I say what are we supposed to do roll over and get arthritis? I don't buy into that. Obviously this guy thinks that people should stop playing rock n'roll when they get old. I think it is bullocks!

Mick might still prance around like a teenager, but Paul certainly doesn't. My only issue on "old rockers" still performing is whether their standards have dropped or not. My only problem where Paul is concerned is not his energy levels, but his deteriorating vocals these days. I'd love Paul to keep recording for years yet, but i think their comes a time to hang up your "live performing" boots and i think that's not far off now.

I agree totally, it is all about the standards. I think guys can still be good muscians forever, kind of like BB King. It is the vocal part which gets "dicey" when you get older. I think most of us will agree there are already a few songs McCartney can't do justice to vocally anymore and either should give them up or arrange them differently. I hope he knows when he can't do it anymore because I don't want him to become a laughing stock like Sinatra was at the end.

                    Maybe I'm amazed !!

The way I see it: Sinatra's issue was dementia, not his singing.

                        Sadly it was both.

We just want him to live that long! And that gives us another 29 years in which to perhaps meet him!
