Something's Wrong

Cord:
Almost six years since a proper Paul McCartney studio album release makes me think something is wrong. Could the moderators please explain what is happening?
Hi Cord! Aside from this year's release (Kisses On The Bottom), he's rumored to be working on possibly two new studio albums at the moment with two different producers. More on that here: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=85171&start=0 Also, his last pop/rock album was Electric Arguments from 2008, which was five years ago (not six). Nonetheless, it has definitely felt like more... Hope that helped.

Oooh yeah--the mullet with the porn 'stache and soul patch! (brings back memories!)
-
If he had the porn stache as his natural color, he would look like mr. miyagi from karate kid
-
Also, Paul is fine, Chuck Berry is 86 and he's only just starting to think about retiring
-
yeah, but who cares about chuck berry? funny 'stache!
-
I think there are plenty of people who care about The Father of Rock N' Roll. He's always been high praised by Paul and John. John said "if you had to give rock and roll another name you might call it Chuck Berry". I'll defend Chuck, just as we defend Paul. If you need another source here
Also in the new interview he states Chuck as a major influence, more than Elvis and Carl Perkins. And just as influential, if not more than Buddy Holly. -

Much thanks for your reply, Mr. Spock. As fertile a mind as Paul has, it's been far too long a gap between albums. Here's hoping for new material soon. Thanks again.

I love when things get derailed!

I agree it's been too long. The incredible Chaos was 7 years ago. MAF was a "clear the decks release" with half the songs recorded before Chaos. EA was certainly far more interesting than the other Fireman albums but not the same appeal as a real McCartney album. Kisses was pleasant but I want McCartney compositions on McCartney albums. We've waited far too long for the next Chaos, Flowers, Tug of War or Flaming Pie.

It has been 41 years since Wild Life. I am still waiting for a sequel.
