What are you guys on?

Mick Jagger, Paul Simon and Rod Stewart are also waiting for their invitations
Good luck with getting Jagger to share the stage with McCartney.
Why?

Same here. I'm certainly not aware of any animosity between the two...and, heck, Mick even dated Linda McCartney once.
-
Mick played at the concert for NY but didn't stick around for the end. Don't know the story though.

Because Mick knew that Paul would be doing mainly Driving Rain songs. "ZING!" (just kidding)
-
You forgot Heather Mills on saxophone.

You use the term "dating" quite loosely I would suppose?

Maybe that's the reason, Paul never forgave him for doing that.

Is it the adult-story I think of?
-
And for the record: Yeah they seem not to get along with each other and they won't go on the same stage.

I have ZERO recollection of Mick Jagger being at the '86 Prince's Trust concert. Is this a photo from the soundcheck or something?

Don't know, I found it here (with no informations) while searching for pictures of Mick and Paul: http://media.photobucket.com/image/paul%20mccartney%20&%20mick%20jagger/brtn6rgns87/Everybody/72591905.jpg?o=16

Isn't that Bowie with them? Mick and Bowie had a big hit around that time -- their cover of the Motown song "Dancing in The Street." And if my (relatively) perfect pitch is serving me well today, that song is in the key of C -- and it looks like Paul, Mark and Bryan are playing C-chords on their guitars. Still, I'm wondering if this is a Photshop'ed pic.
-
Yes, it's Bowie too (and Bryan Adams and Bob Geldof). To me this pic looks real, but you never know these days in the internet. Edit: Okay, it's not Bob Geldof, I thought so.

no...not a fake... "Mick Jagger and David Bowie duet with an all-star band at at the Prince's Trust Concert, London, 23rd June 1986. Left to right: Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Mark Knopfler, David Bowie, Mark King, Bryan Adams. Photo: Getty Images / SL" not shown on TV

Great catch audi!!

Looks -- or I should say, SOUNDS -- like they did it in A that night. A second look at the chords suggests so, as well. The record is in B (right next to C). Oh, well.
