And for the record: http://i991.photobucket.com/albums/af31/brtn6rgns87/Everybody/72591905.jpg... Yeah they seem not to get along with each other and they won't go on the same stage.

I have ZERO recollection of Mick Jagger being at the '86 Prince's Trust concert. Is this a photo from the soundcheck or something?

Don't know, I found it here (with no informations) while searching for pictures of Mick and Paul: http://media.photobucket.com/image/paul%20mccartney%20&%20mick%20jagger/brtn6rgns87/Everybody/72591905.jpg?o=16

Isn't that Bowie with them? Mick and Bowie had a big hit around that time -- their cover of the Motown song "Dancing in The Street." And if my (relatively) perfect pitch is serving me well today, that song is in the key of C -- and it looks like Paul, Mark and Bryan are playing C-chords on their guitars. Still, I'm wondering if this is a Photshop'ed pic.

no...not a fake... "Mick Jagger and David Bowie duet with an all-star band at at the Prince's Trust Concert, London, 23rd June 1986. Left to right: Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Mark Knopfler, David Bowie, Mark King, Bryan Adams. Photo: Getty Images / SL" not shown on TV

Thanks so much. I was totally unaware of this1

I'd forgotten all about this. It's better than I remembered, although I'm not so crazy about your theme. Still, I could see PBS doing a tribute like this -- and you've made the prospective producer's job a lot easier by coming up with such an impressive roster of guests!

Of course, Taylor Swift needs to go - and, sadly, Billy Preston passed away years ago.

As a huge Wings fan, I am very disappointed that in this dream concert, 21 of the final 22 songs are Beatle tunes. Really? Zzzzzzzzzz.

"If you want the Beatles, go see Wings"-George Harrison 1974

"This is for all the Wings fans!" - McCartney introducing "1985" for the first time on American soil (Phoenix 2010)

Good luck with Joe English as well.

Forgot about that. Isn't Joe basically kept under lock n' key by a religious cult these days? My far-fetched theory: I've often speculated that's why Paul has delayed re-issuing Wings Over America and Rockshow -- because it would generate huge royalty/residual money for English -- which would be intercepted by his "church." Just a theory.

don´t think that english will get (many) royalties. why, he didn´t write any of the songs and i think he just got the salary for a musician...
