What do people think about stage times for this? I need to book trains. All we know so far is door at 12:30pm. It's very small and been confirmed as lunchtime gig so I'm thinking starting at around 1:15pm-1:30pm? Then what do we think as a set, 2 hours, 3 hours? I'm looking to book a 5pm train leaving Euston which is only 2 tube stops from the gig so even a late start and a long set I will be ok I hope?
Euston is 3 stops from Tottenham Court Road on the northern line, but you can also walk from Euston, if you know your way well. Won't take longer than 20 mins. I don't think he's going to play for 3 hours in a small venue... it seems a bit too much. Count the chatting, etc... I'd guess 2 hours. (I'm also thinking of the unplugged concert). I think perhaps a 5.30 train might be best, you never know...

Congradulations to all who got tickets. I don't know how you did it! I was there at 2 am (for your 10 am) but no luck. Went back to bed. Guess I'll stand in the street and watch for Paul to drive by. NOT DONE THAT IN 44 YEARS! TOO FUNNY

If anyone who managed to by 2 x 100 Club tickets is interested in swapping one of them for a Liverpool ticket, pm me. Note this isn't a spare ticket for sale - I'm only interested in this swap.

Well done to everyone who managed to get a ticket for this unique performance. So pleased some REAL fans managed to get tickets. I was trying a bit before 10am this morning to get myself a ticket. I was trying on the internet and calling the hotline number at the same time on the phone. My son was on a phone, my daughter in law on another phone and my other son on a lap top - all of them trying to get me a ticket but none of us managed to get me one. At 2 minutes past 10 I was told it had all sold out but I we all kept trying. I am gutted. Would have been a nice round up to a lousy week for me due to my sister passing away unexpectedly but hopefully he will do another tour. I did see him at Cardiff this year and O2 last Xmas but seeing him at a place like 100 Club. What an opportunity. What bugs me is seeing the tickets going for ridiculous prices on internet sites. How they get hold of them amazes me. Enjoy the show everyone who is going.

Thank you very much. Kind of you to write. There's never a good time for this sort of thing but Christmas time seems to make it worse, especially as it came out of the blue. Thanks again Hev

yes, I got two tickets and am now going!!! Thanks to a very good friend!
-
So happy for all the boardies who got tickets for this gig! I'm sure it will be an amazing show and the rest of us will be with you in spirit!

Sigh. I've never seen Paul live, and I would have really treasured going. Saddest thing was that I found out about the show, like, two hours after tickets went on sale. Even though I know I most likely wouldn't have been able to get a ticket even if I was poised and ready at ten this morning, I'm still kicking myself that I wasn't able to at least TRY, you know? So, do you lot think there's any chance of getting lucky by going to the club on Friday? Like, might there be a few people who miss trains/forget their IDs/whatever?
-
not likely but you never know. I doubt they will let unticketed patrons in
-
congrats to all who got tix! I am insanely jealous, seeing Paul in a club like that is my dream gig. so at the moment, I shall have to make do with my fond memories of seeing him at the Edinburgh Odeon on this date back in 1979. As for the touts having tickets, I'd beware - they don't have the tickets in hand of course since it's paperless. I have heard stories of some US touts doing some fake credit card/ID stuff to get around the paperless thing and sell both tix so that they don't "waste" one on themselves...

To everyone who's going, what sort of time are you planning on getting there?
-
bout 10.30 am

Feeling happy, and at the same time a little jealous, for the peeps going to this show. Have a great time and be sure to write in with a report...all details greatly appreciated.

Speaking about his decision to play there, McCartney said: "We are really looking forward to the show. I've never played at the 100 Club before and it's great to be playing at a venue with so much great history that has seen so many brilliant gigs over the years." He jokingly added: "One of the reasons for playing the 100 Club, besides playing a small club gig, is so that we can be part of the campaign to help the venue stay open for a new generation of up-and-coming artists, like myself!"

This is my question: The club is very small... so maybe nothing songs on piano?? I hope!So instead of "Hey Jude" "Let it be" etc will be others songs! My dream is to hear "I wanna hold your hand" and "She loves you". Why Paul never sing this stuff??? I mean are 50% with Lennon like "One after 909"
-
He would just use a smaller keyboard. I personally would rather hear juniors farm than she loves you or I wanna hold your hand not 2 of his greatest songs.
