Figure of 8 section - has it served its purpose now?

I don't know but I do really like that song ... still (and yes, I am repeating myself ...).

I often thing of this song, for isn't it what we all do, move in a figure of eight, away from home, out, and back again. That was an interesting album. Many a lonely night and mile was filled with flowers in the dirt sorrow for what it's worth.

I bet John would have loved to sing that song with Paul. It just hits you like a 2 by for. That could be some dirty, funky blues. It could be the greatest guitar solo ever. Who's that good? I suppose Eric Claptin could do it since he and George we're so close, even after that wife swapping thing, but he did do the solo in my guitar gently weeps and was call "pscho" on guitar, by George. james blunt. Is he that good on guitar? I saw him live and he, in my opinion, is a talent where it has been said that Paul is in a class by himself, and rightly of course. There is Paul, and then james blunt. Any other greats out there, Beatles being the standard, and John being the mold setter, master builder, etc.

Well I personally really enjoy Jason Mraz ... saw him live a couple years ago and he's just very engaging and has some quality that reminds me of some of the Beatles sillier sides. For that matter for a while there I was wondering if he might be one of those "unclaimed" Paul kids (he looks a bit like him). Obviously the timing would be wrong for that to be a possibility ... he's too young to have been in that category, but regardless he's got some talent that's for sure. Really enjoy Gavin DeGraw as well ... and Edwin McCain, don't know where I'd rate 'em ... but all of these guys have CD's that I can listen to without skipping any songs (a rarity at times it seems from some of the newer artists that have come and gone on a single "hit" or two).
