I'm sure others and myself would love to hear what it was like being there. Did you stand in the same spot all day? How did you manage bathroom and food breaks?

I stood for 20 hours, no food, no toilet breaks; I was so deyhdrated I didn't need to pee. The security team kept handing out water to us.

I went to bed at about the time Sting was performing. I set my VCR to record the rest of the show, and went to bed... The first thing I did in the morning was to play the tape back to see Paul's performance.... oooh! what disappointment By the time Paul took the stage they'd changed TV stations that were televising the event in Poland! So of course I'm left with no recroding of the show. Luckily I got hold of some mpeg's instead When I woke up on Sunday I saw a text message on my mobile from my former student: It read: "Hello from Hyde Park! The star of the night is Paul McCartney. Greetings. your ex-student Krzysztof Zaza Z" this is at least one Pole at the show I know about

I happened to be in London, and was able to attend. I thought that Paul was great, and was very well-received. But, if you were at Hyde Park, you certainly wouldn't say Paul stole the show -- from where I was standing, the audience response seemed much more enthusiastic to U2 and Robbie Williams, and the younger fans to Coldplay, Travis and Razorlight. If anyone "stole the show" it would probably be Robbie Williams (though I can't quite understand why the Brits love this guy so much). In contrast, until we got to the "Hey Jude" outro, I thought that the audience responses to the Who, Pink Floyd and Macca were a bit "muted". Maybe the response was different in the golden circle, where the audience was presumably older.

I think that this was meant to be a joke, right? "Golden Circle" because of the need to stand in one place without nippin to the loo (as they say in England)? Clever, but a bit disgusting.

I was there with my partner. We took all our own food and drinks, which was lucky, because we didn't have the chance to buy anything or go to the loo! I have huge blisters on my feet now, but it was deffinatly worth it!!
