Paul in the grocery store
-
I heard Paul today again in the grocery store. But I didn't recognize the song, which surprised me. The only lyrics I could understand (it was quite noisy), was something like: ...words(?) are tumbling down. Could be the chorus. The song sounded like early seventies... Anyone a clue which song I've heard?

Yep, that's it! Thanks for the link. Unbelievable that a rarity like this one is played at the grocery... I think I love my grocery store

Love Come Tumbling Down...yes a very strange one to hear in a store. It was a B Side to the 1997 UK hit single Beautiful Night. A Non Album Song.

Maybe the store owner is a McCartney fan and hooked up his Ipod.

Ever Present Past was playing in Randall's today. I stopped my shopping and just stood there singing. Such a great song.

So it's settled... if you want to hear post 1980 McCartney don't listen to the radio or go to his shows... get to the grocery store. I heard Dance Tonight at my most recent trip to the store. The man has a corner on the supermarket loudspeakers.

Could be, but I don't think so. Maybe MPL has a good deal with the company who deliver the music systems to grocery stores...
