How many money does Paul give to charity?
-
Just a question.
-
Just an answer: Paul is known to make significant donations to various causes as and when he sees fit, however the amounts and destinations of his philanthropy are unpublished and Paul does not make formal announcements of his generosity. Where details do filter into the public domain it's usually through the recipients. Besides gifts of money, Paul also does significant work giving time, songs in supporting campaigns close to his heart such as Meat Free Mondays or his donation of an live-to-air broadcast via YouTube of his Hyde Park concert for the charity BornHIVFree. Other recent examples have been appearances at LiveAid, The Concert For Change, and the Old Vic charity dinner. Suffice it to say he does his bit. Martin

I think we'll never know and to be honest, it's none of our business

Exactly.

I remember after the 1993 tour... I think it was an interview when Paul was kind of upset and revealed some details like 30%-40% of his profits on every show went to different charities ("but people doesn't know"). The thing is if that if you tell it, it seems like a PR image campaign, and if you don't tell it, it seems you're not donating a thing. That was just a figure then, and it was so long ago that it could be bigger or smaller. Anyway I think he would pay like half of his income to taxes, cause he lives in the UK.

In all fairness though, this section of the message board is rarely touched, so it's not hard to find a 2010 thread on here without going past the 2nd page.
