I never thought that it can be cold in Sao Paulo... I thought that it`s always kinda hot (or at least warm/mild) in tropical places. Here in Vienna, it`s very hot (about 30 grades centigrade for several days now)... too hot for me; I prefer spring/autumn when we`re having about 15-20 grades! Well I`m fine... I didn`t have much luck with some jobs I applied for; but next week I have the next chance to get a job. It`s nothing special (and not very well paid), but at least it would pay my rent and my social insurance/health care! And with the band
it`s almost like in a very bad telenovela at the moment. Lots of games that are being played (reminds me of something George said in the anthology about the "Get Back"-sessions... it`s a bit like that for us too at the moment )... Anyway; yesterday I told them that I`d like to quit but they convinced me to stay; now we`re trying to sort our personal problems out... well, as I told you once before; I`m living in the capital of psychoanalysis... it seems to me that everyone in Vienna is more or less a psychologist AND a psycho at the same time! 
I don`t know if we`ll repair it. time will tell... -

That´s why I didnt stay in a band. There is always a drama and dramas are for Mexicans, lol. Here everything is annoying. My boos is stupid, 2 faces, and I told him I will leave if he doesnt start acting like a boss. He thinks I cause too much trouble because I tell people to fight for their rights. My husband got a big Brazilian flag and we are the only ones with that huge flag outside the window. It sucks!!! I´m so lost these days, I´m sorry if what I say dont make sense. I´m nonsense. The co-songwriter and me will never talk with each other again. Next week I have to see him again though, cos he will be coming to take his instruments/equipment back... but I won`t talk with him. The guy stole more than one year of my life. ... my other ex-bandmates will probably support me on my album; I think that`s that shows that I`m right and he`s wrong... NOTE: I edited/erased a few not so nice things I said in that post! -
Sad that STOP is now history. That guy seems like such an asshole, I hope you'll get the support from the rest of the band. And remember, all of us here in the Champagne Supernova are behind you.
btw, I noticed your thread in the Strawberry Fields forum. I bet you didn't have your co-songwriter in mind when you wrote I Like You. I like the lyrics to the song I Show You The Way. Especially the last bit! Inspired by Rubber Soul?

I think I was a bit harsh in my last two posts... I think that was just anger and frustration coming out after realising that the work of a year was for nothing. I`m still pissed off by the whole thing but I won`t attack my ex-bandmate anymore (especially not on this board/behind his back)... I guess he had his reasons to do what he did, and I`m sure he thought about it for a long time... the only thing I still don`t understand is why he never tried to talk with me about several things; he wasn`t very honest with me, IMO... but, well; let it be... it`s better to stop now rather than go on with all the negativity! I guess when a band splits up, it`s always a pain in the arse for everyone involved... there`s no gentle, polite way to do it; but it`s a fact, that it had to be done....

Silver Moondogs advice for the summer: LISTEN TO THE PIPETTES!!!! Their album will be released in july. I have the promo (I`ll do an interview with them today)... and it`s brilliant. The best album I`ve heard in more than one year!

I've been okay, busy with work stuff (what else is new) and also found some time to meet up with one of my macca-boardie friends and went on a short trip. Now I'm getting ready to go see the Chili Peppers in less than two weeks' time and spend some time in West London. I practically live there anyway, so I just gotta hop on a train for 30 mins. Stefan - I think I've heard of the Pipettes - where are they from? What style of music do they play? Michelle - long time no see. How's it going? they`re from brighton; they are trying to come up with a contemporary version of early 60s-girl groups like the shangri-las or ronettes (john lennon would have loved them)! Another interesting thing about them. They are strictly ANTI-Beatles... not because they hate them (they don`t); but just to demonstrate that there can be brilliant retro-music without the overwhelming influence of the beatles; their melodies are breathtaking, and their lyrics are very funny; it`s a very female sense of humour, though. Most songs are about "losers" that are trying to be their boyfriends... In "One Night Stand" the chorus goes: "I don`t love you - I don`t want you - if you think that this is cruel then you should see what my friends do - I don`t love you - I don`t want you - leave me alone you`re just a one night stand!"... they sing it in their sweetest voices...
Their album is so brilliant. 14 songs; each one a potential hit! The perfect summer-album (it will be out in a month!)... BTW; I know so much about them, cos I had a phoner with one of them just half an hour ago!
