ya compre el disco ayer y efectivamente me dieron una playera, jeje
. No puedo dejar de escucharlo...sinceramente este disco es demasiado bueno... 
Y bueno lo del dvd tambien me gustó. 
Me gustó mucho la parte de toomuch rain, friends to go y de follow me(bueno en si me gusta todo) cuando las explica y ufff me fascino el video de How kind of you!!! sobre todo la parte en donde aparecen sus letras en pantalla, uy se me puso la piel chinita,!!! Y bueno la animación tambien estuvo muy buena... Estoy de acuerdo, Paul merece lo mejor de lo mejor por este album que es sin duda una joya...me encanta. 
Hoy empieza paul con su gira en eua, suerte para lo que van que disfruten de sus conciertos, ahi nos cuentan que pasa... me pregunto que canciones cantará en este tour!!! [color=deeppink]LA MACCA-GIRA 2005... 'US' TOUR (7). SABADO 17 DE SEPTIEMBRE. PAUL McCARTNEY!!! Muy similar aunque grandioso fue el concierto de anoche en la 'American Airlines Arena' (con el que dió comienzo la gira 'US' 2005), a los shows presentados por Paul McCartney durante su gira europea del año pasado. Un poco incómoda la Arena, pues en sus secciones altas pusieron un gran entramado que dejaba a la gente ubicada en esas zonas, con pocas posibilidades de ver algo más que no fuera la enorme pantalla colocada al frente del escenario. La iluminación era fabulosa con la simpleza que le caracterizó a Paul en sus conciertos de México en 2002, pero que parece ofrecer un ambiente muy cálido y de enorme interacción entre el exbeatle y su público. Superbet ya nos dió el avance del set list, así que me concretaré a decirles que en mi opinión lo más fabuloso fue que se incluyeran canciones como 'Fixing a Hole' que no es nueva en giras, pues recordemos que este tema formó parte del repertorio de la primera parte de la Gira de 1993 en USA, así como también del show 'Up Close' de 1992. 'Please Please Me' y 'Too Many People', grandiosas!!! Esta última al más puro estilo de su disco RAM. Todo comenzó alrededor de las 20:10 horas, con un Pre-show casi idéntico al de la gira 2004 y de 20 minutos de duración. DJ Freelance Hellraiser 'interpretó' en vivo algunos temas que ya vieron la luz en el álbum 'Twin Freaks'. Posteriormente la misma voz en 'off' con un conteo regresivo anuncia la presencia del Sir inglés en punto de las 20:30 horas!!! Aunque antes de esto, se puede escuchar el sonido de sirenas y entonces comienza a reproducirse en las pantallas un breve film en el cual podemos apreciar a bombarderos alemanes, precisamente bombardeando Inglaterra durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Se ve flasheando en las pantallas el nombre JAMES PAUL McCARTNEY y aparece su certificado de nacimiento así como la fecha del 8 de junio de 1942. En ese mismo momento, se presenta un gran armado de cientos de fotografías que abarcan la vida del cantante desde su niñez hasta su reciente presentación en 'Live 8'. Todo esto desde luego, con la música de Paul como fondo... Al finalizar es entonces cuando una gran cortina roja en forma de medio círculo se abre para ver aparecer a Paul vestido con chaqueta negra, camiseta color azul y jeans en negro. LA NUEVA GIRA ESTA YA EN CAMINO!!! Como les comenté, el set list difiere poco del presentado en la gira anterior, aunque ahora comienza con 'Magical Mistery Tour' y en la primera sección musical aparece 'Fine Line', que recibe una gran ovación de parte de la gente. En su sección acústica (sin la banda) integra 'I Will' que NUNCA había hecho en vivo!!! y luego viene Jenny Wren. Lo haría a propósito??? Viene entonces la sección de piano en la cual la banda regresa luego de que Paul toca 'I Will' y 'Fixing a Hole'. El grupo regresa con 'English Tea' y McCartney la interpreta magistralmente! dándose tiempo incluso, para ejecutar una versión corta de 'Yellow Submarine', para que la gente entienda que entre él y Ringo no hay ningún problema. Fueron suprimidas 'Here Today' y 'All Things Must Pass' y la banda incluye 2 encores!!! Cada uno de tres canciones. Es en el segundo cuando interpreta de manera magestuosa 'Please Please Me', que en cuanto me sea posible, les pasaré en audio. Luego vengo con más detalles!!! NOTICIAS DEL MUNDO... Ah! Estoy analizando la posibilidad de comprar el merchandising por la web y que me lo envien al hotel alla. Antes quiero ver si realmente respetan los tiempos de entrega. La verdad, no tengo ganas de estar vigilando lo que compre durante todo el concierto. -

Es interesante tu comentario porque en cierto modo, parece que el set list pudo quedar mejor. Me refiero a que los ensayos de la semana presagiaban grandes cosas. En los ensayos de lunes y martes, Paul interpretó 'She Came in Through the Bathroom Window'!!! y todos pensamos que se quedaba. Luego el miércoles durante el gran ensayo general, interpretó 'When I´m 64' que se escucha grandiosa!!!, 'Obladi-Oblada', 'Junior´s Farm' y una versión super larga de 'Sgt. Pepper'. 'Too Many People' nos sorprendió y su ejecución es maravillosa. Para los conocedores de la música de Paul fue estupendo, pero hubo gente que en pleno concierto se miraba como queriendo adivinar el porqué McCartney tocaba esa canción y no otra. Aquí se perdió un poco la magia para ellos. Con razón a Paul no le gusta salirse mucho de su catálogo clásico. El jueves la banda tuvo descanso total. Pienso que quizá 'Please Please Me' hubiera estado mejor en el lugar de 'I´ll Get You' pues es un tema fuerte para crear buen ambiente, debido a que algunas canciones como 'Magical Mistery Tour' y 'Jet' las conocemos de sobra en concierto. Igual considero que le faltó algo al Pre-Show, el DJ estaba en el escenario con una consola haciendo mezclas de música electrónica y en las pantallas se miraban imágenes con el logotipo de los Wings, ruedas moviéndose que nos recordaban también a la portada del álbum 'Working Classical', pero nada más. Lo que salvó esa parte fue el film corto antes de comenzar el concierto en sí. Se trata de un video sobre la vida del exbeatle desde su infancia, imágenes de su acta de nacimiento y la fecha del 18 de junio de 1942, fotos de su familia, sus notas de la escuela, la casa y las calles donde vivió, sus inicios con el grupo de los Quarrymen, los Beatles, los Wings, hasta llegar a su actuación en 'Live 8'. Todo eso y más te espera en Nueva York. Solo como agregado cultural, estos son los set list de la semana: Septiembre 12 y 13. PAUL McCARTNEY EN TAMPA!!! SIR PAUL TAKES CROWD ON WILD RIDE!!! The last time there were tickets to ride for a Paul McCartney show in Tampa, the music industry was all abuzz with the notion that it could be the last time Sir Paul drove his concert car on a major U.S. Tour. As if to prove the naysayers wrong, McCartney started that tour with the never-performed Beatles classic "Hello Goodbye," with its pertinent line, "I don't know why you say goodbye, I say hello." For Saturday night's return ride at the sold-out St. Pete Times Forum, the former Beatle was less concerned with putting rumors to rest than in reveling in what has been one of pop music's most storied rides since the rock era dawned all those years ago. Since 1989, McCartney's solo jaunts have always included Beatles hits, along with some key solo and Wings songs thrown in for good measure. But Saturday -- the second date of his current "Us" tour (as in "it's about all of us"), the multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter opted for a comprehensive but folksy tour of his career, which started well before The Beatles blitzed through Shea Stadium and blew away a nation on "The Ed Sullivan Show." And he did a startling amount all by himself -- alternating between brief "mini sets" on solo acoustic guitar and solo piano. The remainder included McCartney alternating between bass and guitar with his fourpiece backing band. After an engaging opening set that started with The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour" and included "Drive My Car" and "Got To Get You Into My Life" along with Wings' "Jet" and the solo "Let Me Roll It" among others, McCartney showed exactly what kind of a long and winding road he's navigated since the 1950s. For openers, he rolled out a 1958 song from the pre-Beatles group he shared with John Lennon and George Harrison (The Quarrymen's "In Spite of All The Danger") and followed that with the rarely, if ever, played "I Will" from "The Beatles" (popularly called "The White Album"). That acoustic set followed all-solo piano versions of "Maybe I'm Amazed" and "Long and Winding Road" and was succeeded by another piano set that included "Fixing A Hole" (from "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band") as well as the new "English Tea." Hearing new material from such a storied, classic artist is a little like taking your medicine before dinnertime. We all know we have to take it and digest it like good little patients. We just don't want it to take too long or somehow take away from the main course -- and dessert, especially. But the songs from McCartney's new album, "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard," which also included the acoustic "Jenny Wren," showed he's still capable of turning out an engaging tune when he wants to. That said, the singer and multi-instrumentalist -- who seemed almost impossibly young and chipper for a man in his 60s -- spent a good amount of time dishing up dessert, from the acoustic "Blackbird" and an expressive piano version of "Eleanor Rigby" to full-tilt rocking versions of "Back in the U.S.S.R.," "Get Back" and even "Helter Skelter," also from the so-called "White Album." Top that with the requisite "Hey Jude," "Yesterday," and "Let It Be," and the concert-closing title track from "Sgt. Pepper's" -- capped with "The End" from "Abbey Road" -- and it's hard to imagine anyone going away unsatisfied. The crowd of 18,095 loved it all. And why not? Saturday night, McCartney told stories, sang tunes and rolled out the kind of songs that one hopes will prompt him never again to sing "Hello Goodbye" in the context he did in 2002. Bill Dean.
