Yeah, it's horrible. I skipped softball practice today to take her home with me because she's the manager so she wasn't expected home until like, 7:30 ish so I figured, I didn't want her walking the really long walk from her bus stop to her house, my walk is shorter, so my plan was to take her back to my house and let her rest for a few hours and then have my parents take her home. But OF COURSE you know, MC has to call, and they said they didn't know she has practice [even though she had it the week before...and the week before that] and then her mom was on the phone and was like "You know what Jean, I question just how sick you really are" and accused her of faking it and I am just so angry. I have to go with her to the doctor on my birthday and sit back there with her and everything...which I don't mind...it's just so scary. She said that I'm all of her good karma wrapped up in one person and she told me that this would be so much harder without me and she cried the whole time at my house. I read about leukemia and we're so scared and it just shows how anything can happen to anyone. I am so sorry for venting...thank you so much for praying for her, that means so much. I just don't know what to say to her, you know what I mean?

Please don't be sorry for venting.......I understand how scary it is and how much you love your friend. The people in her life....it just makes me sick. Thank God she has you.

Yeah I mean, her mom will find a reason to blame her for this. Because of course cancer would be Jean's fault. They hardly ever take her to the doctor but she REALLY needs to go. Not only because she should go for a physical once a year anyway, but ESPECIALLY now because of all of these symptoms. But she's had these symptoms for weeks, and there are also the symptoms of mono, but it can't be mono because I have the WORST immune system in the world and I share drinks with her all the time and I'm not at all sick. Usually whatever colds she has, I catch, but I haven't caught this. Gosh...I just WISH I could take this for her, I really would do it if I could...if someone gave me the chance to take whatever it is for her, I gladly would. GOSH this SUCKS SO MUCH!!! I feel like screaming in to a pillow.

Don't think the worst until you know for sure......have her go to the doctor to find out what is going on. Maybe it isn't even leukemia.

I wish her parents would actually make the doctors appointment. Her mom insists that she's faking it.

Hello to you too
How are you doing today Sarah?

Jordon, how do you know Jean has leukemia. It is something quite treatable but also something usually found in young kids or older adults if i remember correctly. it could be lots of things but she needs to see a doctor. until then, dont get yourself tooo worked up, and pray for the best

We don't yet, she still needs bloodwork. But the other day, we were researching and it could be other stuff too so we've been feeling a bit better about it all because at first the only thing we found to match her symptoms was leukemia, but now there's like three or four other things we found that matches it all. The school nurse called her mom though, which is really great because her mom insists that she was faking it all. I think the doctors appointment is supposed to be on Friday in the morning because we're off from school for "staff development". Sucks for the teachers, haha!
