THe Changeling
Watched this one with my boyfriend a few months ago...GOSH, THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! That's because we were watching it and we heard noises on MY house...couldn't sleep that night. And the next one. And the next one. Also "Rosemary's Baby"...what a great film!

Kestrel:
I'm not keen on 'horror' films but i do enjoy supernatural/ psychological films with spine tingling atmospheres such as The Others, The Orphanage, Ring, Dark Water, [Rec] & A Tale Of Two Sisters.....amongst many others.
I define 'horror' as something that either scares me, makes me cringe, or gives me shivers. You mention The Ring... that girl gave me shivers.

They re-made Evil Dead. (which was almost a comedy) I challenge anyone to watch the trailer and tell me they were not a little freaked out!

I watched 'The Conjuring' the other night. It was nothing new but it was a decent horror film and I was just wondering what's your favourite? I suppose I'm hoping to get some recommendations for the next rare occasion when I have a couple of hours to kill... I suppose my favourites are 'The Hills Have Eyes', 'Friday The 13th' and 'Nightmare On Elm St' Although I don't mind non-slasher horror such as 'Alien', 'Funny Games' or 'American Warewolf in London'

The original "The Omen"--freaked me out!

"Silence Of The Boxholder"
