Heard a blurb on the radio that she passed away - I guess she's now moonwalking with Michael Jackson in the sky

Peter Lawford was the first one who kissed Liz Taylor on screen. She was also Eddie Fisher's ex-wife.

Elizabeth Taylor was a great actress. Real glamour and sophistication. I don't see that in Hollywood these days. May she rest in Peace.

she wanted her headstone to read she lived. If there was a description of Elizabeth Taylor that would be it. She lived! Her way! We should teach this to every young person cause life goes by so fast and we don't get do overs.

She was an incredible humanitarian, actress and profound woman. Cleopatra was an awesome movie with her in the lead role.

I started crying when I found out. I didn't know I'd cry over her.

She really turned in a super performance in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. She may have taught Burton how to act, but he taught her how to thesp. RIP, Liz.

She was an amazing woman, stunningly beautiful, a huge inspiration as a humanitarian and she had the most beautiful jewelry... (there was a beautiful book about her jewelry... stunning) She tried to be a normal person for a while with John Warner, but her strenth and her power as a human just would not let that happen for long....she will be missed... I know she suffered with so many things in her life. I know she is in a beautiful place now...

Yes waking up married to a Rep Jack Warner..that must of been one bad hangover.

I always looked up to her. Not just for her talent or her taste in jewels; but also for her tireless work for her causes, such as AIDS. And being so loyal a friend. Also, for me especially, her ability to bounce back or at least persevere thu all her traumas--both emotional and medical. I am very sad today. R.I.P. Liz.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor...a stunning beauty both inside and out. Great actress, brilliant movie star, and an extraordinary humanitarian with a heart of gold. Not of my generation, but being an admirer of classic movies, Liz captured my attention as a young child. I will never forget the first time I saw her in A Place in the Sun...breathtaking beauty! In my eyes, Liz was the personification of feminine perfection. Due to my admiration for Liz and love of jewelry, my closest friend presented me with her book, My Love Affair with Jewelry. In it he wrote, "Everyone should have a Liz in their life, you are my Liz." With this inscription he was referring to her known loyalty in friendship. I have perused this book often, and it never fails to bring a smile. Along with so many others, I will miss Elizabeth Taylor. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Liz.

THANK YOU, (((((PAUL)))))!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

I remember watching her on Lassie come home. I was a little girl and I thought she was beautiful. I remember saying when I grow up I want to look just like her. however, that didn't happen. I love her in cellopatra. I not sure I spelled that right. She had glamor and charm. She will be missed. my thoughts are with her family.

I thought her first screen kiss was either from the horse in National Velvet or the dog in Lassie or Lassie Come Home.. RIP Liz
