There will surely would be demand for them with or without promoting an album. Yes disappointed if there's no xmas shows for this year 
But he does ultra-exclusive media performances in the UK to promote the album, rrrright?

:Yes even though its a ticket lottery?! i.e this Weds show, ironically last full concert Paul did in UK was in Dec 2011.

My feeling, Australia in Feb or March(Springsteen is down under in Feb. so he may wait) and then a full set of Europe dates in May, June, July and Aug much like he did in the US this past summer.

I'm not understanding why some feel that UK is already a no-go for 2013.

Just read the article where Paul says he will tour Europe and the UK in 2014. Unless something is amiss, I don't think there are any UK shows for December 2013.

The two disastrous UK gigs in 2010 were announced 7 December though, but he will never ever do it again that way.

Agreed. After Japan he's saying U.K. Germany Europe in 2014. Nothing else though.

No UK shows again?? He said in a BBC radio interview he'd like to end the year doing UK shows and then this?? Just goes to show that a lot of things he says are just words and nothing more. I'm going to prepare myself to be bitterly disappointed yet again in December. Seriously, Paul, why bother raising our hopes at all?

I understand your disappointment, but I think you have maybe got a little obsessed with Paul doing Christmas shows in the UK. Really, he has only done it a couple of times. He did say that there was nothing planned after Japan. He is doing the two shows for the BBC, which is probably what he had at the back of his mind when was speaking to Zoe Ball.Maybe he did want to do some Christmas shows here and it just wasn`t possible.We don`t know. He certainly made no promises in that interview. However, frankly, I`m relieved if he is not doing shows here in December. I hate it. Cold, dark, worrying about the weather. Shows in the spring sound like a much more pleasant prospect.

Red dragon Radio (Welsh FM station) said that a Liverpool show in December was scheduled but gave no details. I'm sure they said a similar thing last year though and that came t nothing. Can anyone remember when the last December UK gigs were officially announced?

That'd be amazing if it came true! The European/UK tour in 2009 was announced on 22nd October, and in 2011 it was announced on 10th October, and in 2010 the mini UK Christmas gigs were announced in early December.

pretty sure we saw the same post from the same source last year about Liverpool and of course it came to nothing sadly
and in fairness doesn't red dragon radio exist anymore isn't it called something else or am i looking at the wrong website? -
It now called Welsh Capital Radio but still uses Red Dragon Jingles, yes they got it right in 2011 and wrong in 2012 so who knows perhaps just speculation
