Exactly, OWS has a clear, intelligent message. They are fighting for their diminishing rights and representing the majority. It's in major contrast to the tea party (remember the signs..get your hands off my medicare and all the misspells) The tea party was being manipulated to activate against their own interests. OWS is global and is not going away.

That depends, are locusts and Bangkok prostitutes also going to be organizing against a culture of corruption and greed among the richest 1%?

Ironicially - probably more effective...LOL...you wondered about 'doo doo' jokes, which tells me you haven't been following any news stories about these Occupiers and the fact that 'doo doo' is a real issue (you only selectively hear the few things you want to hear)....

Nick Clegg has just said on the news something about 'people struggling to provide the kind of xmas they want for their familes'. Not sure what the context was but seriously why is he saying things like that as if xmas goodies and whatnot are somehow vital necessities. I mean it's one thing to empathies with people going without but that's empathising with people for not having more. He really should have more backbone and stop crawling up the public's rear.

Yea, I could see him (more truthfully) holding success seminars, charging $$ for admission, and selling books "How I Made It BIG". Key point: Make the "little people" (those of much lesser means) think 'I'm on your side' - please buy my books & dvds I think if he tried to "tough it out" like those "occupying" - the next day they'd be carrying him out in a body bag! btw - you can click on the pics for a larger size

I don't think you understand the concept of a peaceful protest. I'm betting if you lived in 1960s Alabama you'd mock whites-only restaurant sit-ins too: "There's no immediate, overnight change, why can't these idiots just give it up so I can order a sandwich? They aren't making a difference!" Oh, and I primarily get my news coverage from CNN, read USA Today and the New York Times on a daily basis and make heavy use of Google News. Obviously sanitation issues come up, just as they would at any large gathering of people over an extended period of time, but you seem to suggest an epidemic of crap flowing through the streets. That's simply not the case. If you were following a wide array of the coverage, you might understand that. But continue to make hypocritical accusations of "selective hearing" from inside your Faux, I'm sorry, Fox News cocoon.

No, it's you who don't get it (again) Andy. : It has been explained before on this thread. OWS is not poor against rich...it is against the greed that is taking away the rights of the poor and middle classes. And the fact that the current economic crisis which was created by greed of many in the 1% is having to be paid for on the backs of those that the crisis has hurt most. OWS is against the policies or ideology of non-regulation and the now disproven economic theory of trickle down which is responsible for this disparity. MM and many others in the 1% understand this and support OWS. People in the now shrunken middle class who don't support OWS are really not supporting their own interests. Sort of the lemmings theory of following the group to your own destruction.

So are locus and Bankok prostitues...proud of that too?

That depends, are locusts and Bangkok prostitutes also going to be organizing against a culture of corruption and greed among the richest 1%?

Ironicially - probably more effective...LOL...you wondered about 'doo doo' jokes, which tells me you haven't been following any news stories about these Occupiers and the fact that 'doo doo' is a real issue (you only selectively hear the few things you want to hear)....

Michael Moore has been making a mockery of the (supporting) far left. He lives well into the uppermost 1 percent & his dream vacation home is in an all white lakefront community & town. But, maybe you just don't get it or care...

Fat cat, excessive (wall street like) greed exemplified in the person of Michael Moore. Just like the illegal drug trade depends upon "mules" - M.M. is dependent upon persons to overlook & defend his blatant hypocracy, lifestyle which is the direct opposite of the street protesters! But, perhaps you want to make it $$ big like he & you need "mules" too to do the dirty work

You don't understand a simple explanation...not surprised. Too complex..sorry..it is what it is You don't understand that a person can have money and still be a decent compassionate soul and can use their money and influence to help others and the common good. It is the ones who are abusive in their power and wealth that are the enemy. Stunning to actually come across people who think the way you do ...scarey too.
