            Joni Mitchell? Not a guy, and you've probably heard of her.

            No it was Les Baxter. I was born in 1955 and Joni Mitchell didn't have #1 hits until the late '60's I think (even Both Sides, Now in 1968/1969 peaked at #3. It won a Grammy though)
