This year Halloween falls upon a Friday!
We LOVE Halloween!!! 
One of our favorite Halloween treats... The Skeleton Dance 
For those who may be interested, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas and John Carpenter's Halloween are screening in select theaters through October making for a fabulous Halloween treat!

We do not celebrate Halloween in Switzerland although our kids love doing "trick or treat" on October 31st.
In the first couple of weeks of November many towns organise "Räbeliechtli" processions. We do not carve pumpkins but white turnips. They look like this:

We will be seeing The Nightmare Before Christmas on Halloween! thats cool as well.i remember acouple of halloweens ago,we got to meet the voice of jack skeleton (chris serandon) and the guy who played oogie boogies voice : ) and last year we went to go see Danny elfman with a big orchestra at the theater real classy they played tim burton scores along with nightmare before xmas stuff

I was with my BFF, Paul McCartney friend last year around Halloweeny and we had lots of fun making our Paul McCartney Punkin
I carved one side and my friend carved the other!! This was the side I carved, I put Pink and Purple/Blue acetate inside, but the Pink is all you can see in the photo... http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t620/love2travel6/Random%20Photos/P1090381_zps369c44aa.jpg My friend carved the other side with Paul and it came out really cool The light came out of his mouth like the energy of music... that was really really cool too!! http://i1316.photobucket.com/albums/t620/love2travel6/Random%20Photos/P1090415_zpsd1d8e028.jpg We both love Paul's music the best out of both of our really large music collections. (obviously) Paul has no equal, in our minds!! 
Just got a new electric pumpkin carving tool for this year!! Looking for ideas.... 
Calico Sky... thanks so much for sharing the video of Halloween in Switzerland! That was so cool! I have wondered how people in other countries celebrate or if they do?! That was really cool to see the large turnips carved!! GREAT video!! Oobu those were really great makeup jobs in those photos! Scary too

and those gifs are awesomwe oobu as well,cool freaky. my neice had her face painted like the day of the dead (dia de los muertos) last year well sort of,she just wanted to see what it would look like she was real cute. -
