Wow where has the time gone? I was at that show, too! Stevie was a nice surprise. Altho since Paul had already performed Ebony and Ivory earlier in the show as part of the regular set, he and Stevie SHOULD have sung What's That You're Doing instead. Saw two other shows on that Forum stand, I think there were 5 total? Plus 3 in Chicago and then a bunch in 1990. Those were the days, I loved that tour.

I had similar feelings the other week when I realised that it was 40 years since I saw Wings play the final night of their 1975/1976 tour,at the Empire Pool, Wembley. Its amazing (and scary) how quickly the years slip away.

Wembley Empire Pool, London  (Wings) 21st October 1976.

'Take It Away' video shoot Elstree studios, London 23rd June 1982.

'Give My Regards To Broad Street' film premier, London 29th November 1984.

Docklands Arena rehearsal concert, London 5th February 1993.

Run Devil Run launch party, Equinox Club, London 30th September 1999.

          O2 Arena, London 22nd December 2009.

          O2 Arena, London 5th December 2011.

That 89/90 tour was the first time I saw Paul live as well....and because the tickets were cheap (and cost the same for stage front seating to the nose bleed sections, you had a fair chance to pick up a great seat (I believe tickets were $37.50 or so)

That must have been cool to see both of them together. I saw him a few weeks later at Madison Square Garden and loved it. Hamish did the Stevie Wonder part and did nice job but obviously he was not Stevie Wonder - lol

                Maybe I'm amazed !!

Not only loving those early & earlier tours but I think also loving the age we were back then. Ahh...those really were the days.
