no one one the party line ( well sung Joe )
we had a Party Line in our Log Cabin in Colorado Springs, up in the mountains with the Bears! they would come out at night and get into the Rubbish Bins. at the time! scare us to Death each time! and the Local Gossip line was the Party line! the latest news with all added attractions of Drama you could find. you know how all that went! nothing was safe, they all knew peoples Business. you would know everything as a kid about the Neighbors! by just picking up the Black Rotary Phone. the kind you would see in a "Thin Man" Movie. in this little Town of Green Mountain Falls Colorado! in 1959, or was it 59? where I heard my First Roy Orbison Single! our Summer Home as a kid. where I learned to Play me Mum's Pot and Pans! gee I sure miss those days! had no care in the world! and feeding the Chipmuncks too. they would come right up to you, when we went up the mountain. you could see life from another Perspective! so High up! I miss the Record Shop where I would go into a booth to listen to the latest song on the "TOP 45" chart! then would go home to watch it on TV, on American Bandstand! to see how they would rate the song on the Top 40 list. I miss Dick Clark too! and Allen Freed!!! he gave us Teen's the opportunity to set us free with "Rock and Roll" and somewhere, along the line, people forgot how to be kind, thoughtful and Grateful for all that the blessings we were given. and to one another. yes I had a rough go at it too. but they did the best they knew how to do! and now I am thankful and grateful for it all! so I miss that warmth of people at times. but now it is all G! Right. so I give a Hug of Love to you all tonight! Love ole me

Long walks ..... after the long record setting snow and cold .... it turned to spring .... that was slightly delayed ..... and then it came .... I walked the path for a few good walks ..... cut a few walks short .... knowing that I would be back out there again as long as it was mostly good weather (and would layer up for colder days) .... I signed up for the company walking challenge (which is non competitive - but gets many talking and trying to get a lot of steps .... encouraging each other and motivating some to keep it going) .... now I break my toe ..... and have only done extreme minimum .... I will have to keep the same idea of always trying to out do myself ... in other words ... more steps than I did before ..... so even with the broken toe ... if I do 1000 steps .... I will try to get 1001 and so on ..... ~sigh~

^ I bet you'll do better than some without a broken toe.

Not that I miss old corded land line phones...as much as I dislike how I can hear so many conversations that I don't wanna hear! At the park out in nature, in the grocery store line, at the restaureant, at the movie theater, etc.
I miss phone booths - a good way not to hear unwanted conversations .... maybe re-start the concept of booths in public areas in which cell phone users must occupy while in conversation.

That'll be the day. Maybe they will have to get out of their cars to make a phone call. Yeah right.

I miss phone booths, new pontiac cars, vcr's, and people not on their phones or digital devices all the time. Good new music on the american top 40, how life used to be.

I miss roller rinks and skate dancing to the music! I also miss drive in movies and being in the back of the station wagon in my pajamas, with my parents in the front, and in later years...hanging out with a boyfriend and making out in the front seat!

I miss my very closest and dearest friend in Cleveland Ohio his name is Dayal Nitai and I consider him to be my older brother since I have no siblings.... I often run to him for protection and advice on things when I have problems. He's so kind to help me as much as possible. I miss him so much.
