It's a lottery all right. It's in Japanese. Does anyone know of an English link? Please

No problem. You can find detailed instructions in English here: http://outthere-japantour.com/assets/dl/PM_PurchaseProcedure_English_20150210.pdf Then, when you're ready to buy, go to outthere-japantour.com and click on the green button marked "VIP" at the bottom of the page. That will take you to a VIP page, which has an "English" button in the top right. From there, you can select the type of ticket you want to go for. From then on, you will need the guide to deal with the kyodotokyo.com website, which is all in Japanese. Good luck! From what I've read (including Google Translating bits of the website), I believe that you're only allowed to try for one type of ticket (i.e., front row, hot sound, or soundcheck upgrade), but you can try for multiple shows. Also, the advice on p.8 of the guide is not necessarily the best (I assume that they were just trying to keep it simple). If you choose the alternative option, then you can rank order the shows to buy tickets for one show (i.e., your highest ranked-show that is available if and when you are drawn). If you choose the option that they suggest and they offer you more than one show, then you have to buy them all (or nothing)!

Did you go for multiple shows Andrew? So if I pick the first option "only once you want can" (!!) option I can try for either of the two shows I can attend and see which they choose? I guess that will determine when I book my flights for!

I am really really sorry for you guys. This is really tough even for a native speaker of Japapnese like me to get through it all. I for one applied for this lottery and hope that everyone could win. Koichi

      Thanks, Koichi, and good luck!

Hi Harley, To clarify, when you get to the screen that's shown on p.8 of the guide, you have to choose one of two options. They tell you to go for the second option, but you don't actually have to. It's up to you. Here's what the two options do: 1. The first option (the top radio button) is a rank order system. If you choose that option, you can list up to three shows in your own order of preference. If they pull your name out of the electronic hat, then you will be given your highest preference that is still available. So, if you choose this option, you only be offered tickets to one show. 2. The second option (the bottom radio button - which the guide says to click) is for people who want to go to multiple shows. If you choose this one, you can request tickets for 1, 2, 3, or 4 shows (your choice). If you win the lottery, they may offer you tickets to some or all of those shows (depending on what they have left when they draw your name). The catch with this one is that your purchase has to be "all or nothing". So, for example, if you are offered tickets to all four shows, you have to buy them all or else miss out completely. Hope that helps! Cheers, Andrew.

Hi Harley, Crowdsurge definitely had lots of floor tickets when they first went on sale (including some seats in the sections immediately in front of the stage), but people snapped them up within minutes. Cheers, Andrew.

Ticket Pia and Kyodo are the worst promoter and organizer. They never think about fans, they only think how they can rip off from us. Today general sales began and Ticket Pia's website said all the tickets had gone. But they just make it look like sold out so that people feel tickets are rare and have to hurry to buy the tickets, which they did last year. I wonder why Paul's management let this happen again in Japan. It doesn't matter to them? Or they just don't know. I hate complaining, but can't help doing so.

                                      Ok whose going to Japan??

I'll be going to the first show in Osaka! How did you go with VIP? No luck here but my friend in Japan won the first Pia lottery for tickets.

Davey, this time it REALLY sucked!! This pre sale, I don't understand a lottery thing? Never read about lottery but one Japanese friend said they had lottery for Japanese fans,.... In 2013 Japanese friend helped me with VIP, than I had one Gold ticket... This time I go to the site in English, VIP ticket link didn't work, so my one friend told me to try n get a ticket for the 25th, all the had was upper decks and hard to see views coming up? so I got B section upper deck for the 25th So far, ugh I haven't sat in upper deck since 2002 I always manage to get floor or Hot Sound, once in awhile front row,... yes, I have spent a shipload of money on Macca fix travel etch the last 14 years...? I'm coming from the US so I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do now?

Oh I'm sorry to here that.. did you manage to get tickets? This is the strangest pre sale I've ever done.. Some friends from Japan said you buy tickets blindly, meaning... You can't choose seat location just by price,..? not a great way to sell tickets me thinks... With Crowd Surge you kinda had a choice... but that wasn't great either..

Yeah, I, myself, used Crowdsurge and got floor seat tickets, which are not the greatest but much better than nosebleed and rear end of the floor, because I knew what Kyodo and Ticket Pia would do. But many people who had expected to good or so so seats through Pia's blind sales found where their seats are disappointed and angry. Only way they can do is go to the venue with the tickets or sell them under the face value as the payment is completed and no refund policy is agreed when purchasing. Japanese OUT THERE Facebook page is full of complaints on Pia and Kyodo's way of business.

I have an official Macca page n have Tokyo pinned to the top,.. https://www.facebook.com/groups/paulmccartney2/ That is so upsetting, I'm in B stands 2nd deck 2nd night, for the 23rd & 27th I have no idea. Not until I get to the venue,.... a very crappy set up for this leg or the tour, and fans buying blind like that... Ugh!! ops:

Hi Harley, Another option for the 23rd and 27th might be to try to book with Kyodo Tokyo over the phone. You can find the number on this page: https://translate.google.com/translate?sl=ja&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fkyodotokyo.com%2Fpm2015&edit-text= Cheers, Andrew.
