I just noticed this thread. I see that Nutty started it when his disease had already advanced pretty far. It must have taken a lot out of him just to summon up the energy to do it. But he loved this board and the people on it. And I'm sure it made him feel good to participate for as long as he could. Rest easy, my friend.

One day in May during his chemo session,mike started telling me more about this site.When i got him home he made me sit him up at the computer and said "watch this"and He typed in 'Hello from Beatnut "and we waited for the stir that it caused.I signed up later that night.

He called me to tell me to log onto the board and read the thread he started. He said "Wow Clo, I can't believe how many people remember me." I just laughed at him and said "How the hell could they forget you?" ... and we laughed together -
We will never forget our Nutty.

wow, i havent been here for a while but thought i would pop in and say hey, i knew mike was sick for a while, but i feel this board will always have a void with him gone. How many times was he boardie of the year, remember the coffee shop, and boy could he and harley fight!! Mike was a true loving person who was so just plain a good guy. His brother even came on for a while if i remember correctly. RIP Mr. Nutty
