"Another Girl"
-
I was THRILLED he kept that in the set list for the US. It was fantastic live-what a great song. What's your opinion on it?
-
Loved hearing it for the first time in London last month, hope it sticks around for a while.
-
Another Girl is one of my favorite songs from Help! I was glad to hear the song from live performances.
-
"Another Girl" was a great addition to the setlist...so glad he kept it for the U.S. dates!
-
I'm in favor of anything that's never or rarely played, but I still want more late-period Wings and recent solo stuff.

I agree. I really like Another Girl, but the Beatles are pretty well covered! Late Wings and solo songs (80s to the present), please!
-
Yep. Much more Wings please. Another Girl is a welcome addition as was it's sister song, The Night Before. Both mid Beatles era favourites of mine.
-
I'd rather have...More Wings & solo please.
-
Macca should've added "Another Girl" to the show around '08/'09 ... for obvious reasons.

Well if that's the criteria, he'd have opened those shows with "I've Had Enough!"

Vanity Fair anyone?
-
Oh, dear. What have I started?

Another Girl is a great new addition. Fun, and comparable to The Night Before. However, I see its run being short-lived, like the Word and Your Mother Should Know. On another note..During the pre-show the other night, the DJ music sparked something in my mind... A mind-blowing song would be Hey Bulldog. While I don't think Another Girl should go for that one, I could see something like All Together Now going for Hey Bulldog. Or even Mr. Kite. Just a thought. I don't even think they have practiced this one to my knowledge? Maybe I'll bring this up over in the song request thread..
-
"Hey Bulldog" is mostly John. I don't really want Paul to do it, even though I love it.
-
Some songs I would NOT want to hear Paul do. Bulldog is one of them. I could handle the band rattle of I Want To Hold Your Hand. Like Please Please Me, I reckon it would work well. Mmmm...why the hell hasn't that been done more?!!@@

I agree. I hope he does them in Oslo next month! I don't know what you all think, but watching the videos of the last shows I can't understand why he still does Hey Jude, Live And Let Die and all those songs that even he himself seems so bored doing. The uneasy gestures he makes: his hands through his hair and the 'acting' after LALD, it just doesn't look as though he is enjoying it. Actually I find it artistically wrong to perform what the crowds want.... He should also never ever do My Love and The Long and Winding Road again, IMO.They are so tediously dragging along and not at all melodiously attractive. What about e.g. My Brave Face and Ballroom Dancing?

IMHO, Live and Let Die is never coming out of the set. It always gets such a great reaction to the pyrotechnics, and Paul loves that. Hey Jude is never going to come out, either; that is one of the most well-known Beatles songs, everyone sings along, people would notice if it was missing.
