I?m reading A Rare Benedictine: The Advent of Brother Cadfael by Ellis Peters. It contains three stories about Brother Cadfael and tells how the former crusader ended up becoming a monk. I discovered Brother Cadfael through the TV dramatizations of the books starring Derek Jacobi. Now I?m reading the books and enjoying them immensely.

I've heard of the author, but have never read any of his stuff. It sounds like an interesting book. I'll have to look it up. I'm currently reading Black House by my favourite author, Stephen King. It's a little slow but seems to be getting better. Good thread to start

I am reading Anna Frank's Diary (again) for school. I really like that book, I think that Anna was a wonderful person.

I?ve read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows twice already. There?s so much to it that I think it takes a few readings to totally absorb. The first time I read it I didn?t leave the house and I avoided all media, including my email. I didn?t want to risk anyone ruining it for me.

Reading a book of remedies. Both me and my cat seem to be under the weather.

I work in a bookstore so I'm very interested in what people are reading. Plus I'm always open to what books other people would recommend.

Anyone reading "World Without End" by Ken Follet? I was shocked going to some multi-store and seeing "The sequel of Pillars of the Earth", I saw Ken Follet was the writer and look at some pages and the "red hair of Jack" was mentioned.

I think we all have those moments! There are many serious, important, and classic books I have yet to read, but sometimes I need to read something just for fun.
