of course! the only time I would need to see somebody's IP address would be if I needed to ban that particular address. So be good and don't get in trouble.

i knew this would be merged if i started a new thread, so i'm just going to paste it all down here... I am in need of moderators on my fan site forums for The Beatles. The name of the forum is 'Come Together: we are the fans' If you would like to become staff, please just fill out the application below. The site is located at http://www.cometogether.greatestboard.com/ IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE STAFF PLEASE JOIN THE BOARDS NOW - You must be able to observe situations with an unbiased, fair mind (This means that you will still have to treat friends just as you would treat any other member). - You must be able to have enough time to sufficiently check your sections daily. (It might take more than an hour to check ALL threads and posts on the forum) - You must interact with members in a polite and respectful manner. I am looking for 5-10 new trainees who are truly eager and dedicated to being part of the forum team, and who have enough time and energy to devote to taking care of the forums as well as interacting with the team and community. Staff Application Requirements: - Minimum Age: 16+ -Minimun Age with special invite: 15+ - Additional security procedures will take place to confirm identity, if your application is successful. Application Form: - Your Name - Your Age - Why do you think you should be on staff? - What makes you a good fit for the forum team (specifically. use detail. must have at least a paragraph)? - What do you feel you can contribute to staff, the team, and members? (specifically. use detail. must have at least a paragraph) - Any relevant skills or experience that might be beneficial? (must have at least 3 list items or three lines) - Example Screenshots of the CT forums. -Do you have any forum staffing experience? Please link to the website(s) and your profile(s) and explain what part of staff you were and how you think you successfully contributed to the community. Please send all applications to fitzmarie.shei97 by private message on either the maccaboard or the come together forums. You will be contacted by PM to let you know whether your application has been successful or not, once we have sorted through all the applications. Please also note that - if your application is successful and you are accepted - it is on a trainee basis. You must pass the trainee process in order to become a full moderator. Not to start a row or anything, but you have been on this board for less then a month and you're actively promoting your own new forum. DId you just come here to promote your group and get members? Just asking. Some of us have wanted to start our own thing just so we could have more adult convesations or certain conversations that seem to end in arguments though we're not sure why. (like the 'set list' debate or Lennon Vs McCartney)

woah.. No. not at all. i actually had no intentions of making my forum when i first joined. it's just kinda easy for me to do so i made it quickly when the thought first popped up. i don't join sites just to advertise. (only on craigslist)
