talking back to the television, movie, radio, song etc

Sitting there on the chair or maybe the couch with a slouch and yellin' at the T.V. ...."Who would watch this CRAP?!" "I mean seriously Who watches CRAP like this??!" " I can't believe that they would show this kind of CRAP on T.V. !!" "Who watches this CRAP??!" ........ and then it is time for the next show ..... [repeat the quotes above].
No this is not me ..... I walk away or turn the channel before the crap comes out. I am sure there are people out there that could turn this fiction into non fiction pretty easily in real life.

What did you mean by that last line, Fool? (don't like calling you that, LOL). I'd much rather read and study and learn and write than watch telly, but I have to watch the boob tube with people sometimes. I didn't see "Glee" to the end, Nancy. Thanks for the info. Would still have been more dramatic and effective had drug use and an O.D. been the cause of Finn's death on the show.

The title of this thread was talking back. This had nothing to do with any of your posts SusyLuvsPaul
I am sorry if you took it that way. It was just suppose to be an innocent post. * I went to someone's house and they were complaining about a show the entire show ..... I took that and added a few quotes ..... which is the last line of being sure there are people out there that do the same or similar.
<----- I hope that I cleared some of the air.

I didn't think yours was pertaining to mine. I just wondered what you meant. We're fine
Oh yes a lot of what's on the tube is anti-intellectual to the max, doesn't even make any sense--thinking of the various "New Housewives" shows, "Long Island Medium," "Breaking Amish in L.A." (what's THAT all about??), Say Yes to the Dress" (we're supposed to be all interested and enthralled by which wedding gown is chosen!), the reality show with one man married to several women is a "revelation" (of stupidity), "Toddlers and Tiaras" (so cute!!) starts to seem a bit silly and insipid after being viewed several times...I hear a new reality show is going to be set in a big funeral home in Dallas (!)...the new one with Alaskan single chicks going to Miami to meet eligible bachelors when the urban guys in Miami are (lots of them) sleazy and cheesy and just players, they might as well have stayed in Alaska and froze in the literal rather than figurative sense. Left cold.

Had to take a break from CNN when i start dreaming about the congressman I have seen too much of it. love doris

This is what Twitter is for.

Not into Twitter, the only good thing happened was Brian Ray tweeted me back a couple times. I guess you mean I could tweet about the stupid shows, but then I'd be wasting even more time on them, LOL. Must cop to a little buzz cause the Voice comes on tonight. (laughs) Ugh Miley Cyrus is caterwauling on "Ellen" right now. Her sharp pitchy voice reminds a bit of Tammy Wynette's, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert

Kind of amazing--watching "The Voice" battle of the singers right now, and every time what I wanted to happen, has happened so far
Love that--pretty rare in life...this is just a telly singing contest, but it's still a treat
that the judges did what I wanted so far
Wow they did it again
Unprecedented, the whole show long! And will be on again Tuesday night. Be strange if lightening strikes twice with this.

Boo hiss to the behavior out side the white house gate by an offical acting less like a states toward the current administration. love doris

I sometimes yell answers at stupid game show contestants, which is pretty stupid in itself.
-
hi
have u ever listened to this stuff?? UK ROCK.good music. -
Saw a promo for another really stupid sounding reality show on TL. Something about "four princes" from Europe coming to Texas and not revealing they're princes, and looking for "love," LOL. Going to have to see this once at least, in order to snicker condescendingly.

The Voice was pretty good tonight, entertaining
They disappointed me last week by not putting a guy I liked through, not "stealing" him after not picking him, but that didn't transpire tonight. Well, it sort of did, once. Tuesday night's gonna be even more fun than tonight's show. The X Factor U.S.A. is gone a little while, for football. But might return this week. They didn't find as many good to great voices as The Voice--but it's a singing contest fix, when the Voice isn't on, and American Idol hasn't yet started. Regretful over not watching the Voice until this season
As Blake Shelton pointed out tonight, it's cool they're coaches and not judges--although actually he, Ceelo, Christina and Adam are all coaches, mentors and judges as well.

I am just glad the tv set doesn't answer back love doris

UH IF YOU TRULLY LOVED THE GUY 1. WHY DID YOU MARRY SOMEONE ELSE AND HAVE A KID/S WITH HIM 2. WHY DIDNT YOU GO BACK TO EDWARDS HOUSE I don't know A WEEK OR MONTH LATER??? YOU KNOW HE DIDNT EXACTALLY DIE. YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT HE DID BUT YOU ALREADY KNOW HE DIDNT. PLUS ARE YOU JUST GONNA LEAVE THAT GUYS BODY AT THE PLACE???? that little kid who was hearing that story must be pretty tired after that 1 an a half hour story that her grandma just told her. " Granny, can I got to bed yet?" NO LITTLE GIRL ILL TELL YOU ABOUT HOW EVERYONE DIES NOW! PLUS WHO TELLS A STORY LIKE THAT TO THEIR GRANDKID!? ARGHHHHH!!!!

Sometimes with the news programs love doris

"Two Broke Girls" made some jokes about terrorists and terrorism tonight--not a good move, was jarring, discordant, off-putting, startling, even shocking. In bad taste. I've only seen that show a couple times. Gave a few laughs here and there, the other times. It had a funny fake psychic on there tonight too, though with a sort of hilarious set up, with the blonde girl freaking over the predictions and they had a little situation piece about that which was rather amusing and kind of tedious at the same time. You know how sitcoms are. Sean Hayes' show is getting better, a bit funnier but as luck would have it, is in danger of cancellation.. Just when I was getting into it a bit more. I don't bother to watch most of what's on t.v., but you know how it is...sometimes you have to watch t.v. with people. And TLC showed a surprising reality program on females in prison today. Didn't know jails would allow filming inside. There was one of my greatest fears laid out before my eyes, I shuddered and gasped--I don't think I could stand being imprisoned. So you try not to do anything to land yourself in "the big house," but sometimes it could happen from sheer stupidity, and maybe you're always smart but not everyone is...it's so aggravating to be wrongfully accused when you're really innocent, and maybe you'll start shrieking and cussing in the court room and be hauled off to the pokey
