Study: Romney Plan Would Raise Taxes On 95% Of Americans: http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/08/study-romney-plan-would-raise-taxes-on-95-of-americans.php (headline says it all, doesn't it?)
"Mitt Romney?s tax plan would be a boon for the wealthy, but a tax hike for 95% of Americans, according to a new nonpartisan study. The report by researchers at the Tax Policy Center, a joint project of the Urban Institute and Brookings Institution, examined Romney?s suggestion of an across-the-board 20% income tax cut financed by closing existing loopholes and concluded there was no way to make the numbers work without burdening the vast majority of Americans with higher taxes. I wish the media were as "liberal" as Republicans purport major news sources to be. Otherwise, GOP obstruction would be a more widely discussed issue. What a pathetic rationale...like males don't have health issues...some birth control meds are used to treat active conditions and not just use to prevent pregnacy...I'm all for birth control prescribed under these conditions to fall under the same catagory as any other prescribed med...you pay a little $10 co pay and get your drugs, then be off and be happy (just like I've have to pay for my blood pressure med, cholesterol meds, and what ever other meds I've been prescribed short term to treat acute conditions...but I have to pay for condoms and because vasectomies are elective ('elective' being the operative word here), I have to pay for that too, if I so chose to go that route As for your last link...baloney - Romney has now began his retaliation against Obama's lying smear campaign (which got Obama nowhere by the way) and we'll just see who's ship sinks.

That is precisely my point: The mainstream media should be covering those stories, but moist of them are actually corporate-controlled shills for your side. And you are aware that Viagara for men is covered under a lot of plans, right?

And while defending himself, he's endorsing The Affordable Care Act. Your GOP lords are a bit ticked off at the sociopath Romney. Romney and his team ain't so swift.

mittens has done so great that one of your own(Coulter) says that people should boycott sending him money because his campaign is so inept doesn't matter money is not going to help mittens... He's inept can't say anything without being insulting. and he's a sociopath. Yep, you're in la la land ignoring the facts again. Your candidate has the lowest approval of ANY candidate ever running for president. It's just going to get worst. And how about his tax returns He has nothing to offer and is probably a crook....what a desperate bunch you all are

Thank you God...Paul Ryan bagger extraordinaire Against women's rights, Medicare, social security Etc, etc, etc Against government but GUESS WHAT : : : : ONLY JOB HAS BEEN IN GOVERNMENT Thank you wingnutters

Obama team reaction to announcement of Paul Ryan for mitten's VP http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/9287/obamareactstoryanpick.jpg Their statement:
?In naming Congressman Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney has chosen a leader of the House Republicans who shares his commitment to the flawed theory that new budget-busting tax cuts for the wealthy, while placing greater burdens on the middle class and seniors, will somehow deliver a stronger economy. The architect of the radical Republican House budget, Ryan, like Romney, proposed an additional $250,000 tax cut for millionaires, and deep cuts in education from Head Start to college aid. His plan also would end Medicare as we know it by turning it into a voucher system, shifting thousands of dollars in health care costs to seniors. As a member of Congress, Ryan rubber-stamped the reckless Bush economic policies that exploded our deficit and crashed our economy. Now the Romney-Ryan ticket would take us back by repeating the same, catastrophic mistakes.?

Hmmmm....I wonder what I'm going to wear to The President's re-election gala. I cannot believe that Paul Ryan would risk his cred with the conservative base and join forces with Romney (who is only USING Ryan for his own cred with the GOP, by the way). This was a bad decision...for Romney. We now KNOW what the Republican ticket is going to do: Privatize Social Security, add a new, annual $6,000 burden to seniors for Medicare and give an additional $250,000 in tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans. Early congrats, Mr. Obama.

Hey, that's Relativism not Postmodernism, and it's older than Aristotle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relativism Though well, they're pretty similar, it's kind of Relativism revisited. Like "No-one is right, you have my opinion and I have mine and both are valid. It's all a matter of opinion, there's no right or wrong" That's it. Or even to deny Truth can exist or anything can be true (and they believe that to be true, I guess )

Romney's Tax Plan Defies the Rules of Math "...Mr. Romney wants to keep all the Bush tax cuts, then cut taxes much further, particularly for the rich, but he says the plan won?t grow the deficit by a dime. He won?t say how he will accomplish this ? there are no real numbers in his plan beyond a vague pledge to eliminate some loopholes. The Joint Committee would take one look at his substance-free plan and say, we can?t work with this." http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/12/opinion/sunday/romneys-tax-plan-defies-the-rules-of-math.html

I'll add this: Ryan is a supposed small-government hero. However... ...his family made ALL of its money via government contracts for their road-paving corporation. And like mustangsally10 pointed out: His sole employment has been in ... (wait for it) GOVERNMENT! Not a single private-sector gig except when he worked for his family's construction company -- that wouldn't have existed without government assistance. So, ironically, Ryan, Inc. -- a road-paving company -- didn't build that either. And, yet, the conservative base calls him a leader. Conservatives seriously lack critical thinking skills.
