Set Lists These Past Few Shows?
-
Could someone provide the setlists for these past few Paul concerts on his new tour? Many thanks, you're an angel I'm sure many would love to know.

Here you go, Susy. Presumably these are accurate. http://www.setlist.fm/search?query=Paul+McCartney&year=2013&artist=13d6bd15

And they tend to be exactly the same every concert. I am not complaining, just pointing out that when I see a set list has not been provided here it probably means it is the standard set he is doing on this tour, which has pretty much been established.

I enjoyed this setlist. I think it was the most interesting one since the 2005 tour, which was only seen in North America. I would have loved to hear "Please Please Me" and "Too Many People / She Came In Through The Bathroom Window" live! But then again this time I got to hear "Listen To What The Man Said", "Hi Hi Hi", "Another Day" and those "new" Beatles songs. What a thrill! In fact, I still listen to those songs every day in my car!

EVERY set list by Paul is enjoyable! I loved the '89 and '93 set lists, since we had never heard any of those songs live. But I agree, 2005 was a great one!

lol...another setlist thread.

I know! It's not like they vary a great deal show to show.

I enjoyed them all, but 2005 was my favorite

Don't forget the new opener: Eight Days A Week. My favorite opener. A dream came true. Mr Kite is epic too!
-
I too fancy the idea of "Eight Days a Week" as an opener and think that's brilliant It's such an upbeat fast snazzy perfect pop song There's always the hope there'll be a few surprises on his set lists, and he's often delivered on that tantalizing possibility Come on boys, blow us away with a biggie
-
It's a great, fun song, but an awful choice for an opener. I like "All My Loving" just as much, but I wouldn't want Paul to open with that, either. I just think there are better Paul McCartney songs to open a stadium/arena show.

At this link, if you click on the name of each venue, you'll find its setlist. Be advised of the occasional error, though. http://www.paulmccartney.com/live/tour-archives/27468-out-there

I think the "Summer 04" tour set list was also very good. There are a couple of songs that I wish he would have played since then..."You Won't See Me" and "She's A Woman". However, he did carry over "In Spite Of All The Danger" to the 2005 US Tour.

Too bad "She's A Woman" had such a short life. It was a highlight if you ask me.
-
True, audi "She's a Woman" has quite a cool rockabilly flair and he tears it up

In Spite of All the Danger was a real good addition to the set list! I don't think we will be hearing that again anytime soon.
