Everybody loves Silly Love Songs!

Letting Go really rocked at Hyde Park - thought that this and 1985 really were accepted
-
He has to dust this one off! This was one of the best additions ever!

I really don't understand why this one was dropped never to return. When I saw him do it in Charlotte and especially at Hyde Park, it seemed to get a great response and he seemed to ENJOY playing the song above anything else. Truth be told, it is such a deep track that I never expected him to ever pull it out of the bag, but if he'd bring this back in the set and keep Junior's Farm, I think it would be amazing. Seriously don't understand the removal of this track but keeping "Mrs. Vandebilt" for almost 4 years (although it is a great song).

Interesting point re: he enjoyed playing it. That's what I recall too. His enjoyment was very obvious. All your observations are spot on. And I'll take your Mrs Vandebilt and raise you a Let Me Roll It!!!

A while back, I kinda' called out Paul for under-playing the bass on the more recent "Letting Go" performances. This 2010 Argentina performance totally shuts me up! He's playing fills on that bass-guitar that SCREAM Wings-era Paul. Enjoy!

I would add scorching hot! And you could tell Rusty, Brian, Abe and Wix were grooving it, too! Totally unexpected at Dublin, Glasgow and Cardiff. Definitely would love to have it back!

Don't forget Silly Love Songs! I unshamefully love that song and bassline!
Also some of the songs from the Beatles years, Rain anyone? Paul is an amazing bass player either way think of how many people he's inspired to play bass since 1963 for example.
Band On The Run has great bass parts too.
