A couple of years ago, my mentor and pen pal friend Andrew Laszlo passed away in Montana. A Hungarian immigrant, concentration camp survivor, Andrew Laszlo became a prominent TV and film cinematographer in New York (The Ed Sullivan Show). During his retirement years he became a prolific writer. My favorite story by Andrew Laszlo is "A Fight of No Consequence" (book title available on Amazon). "A Fight of No Consequence is like a contemporary Greek tragedy; a Cajun hustler like King Midas in reverse, seeks fortune and instead he stumbles upon his own redemption. "A Fight of No Consequence" is an exotic epic which pays homage to the oeuvre of Francis Ford Coppola (You're a Big Boy Now). Andrew Laszlo's perseverance, resourcefulness, ingenuity and witty sense of humor will be missed. Original post: 06-15-2013 11:36 PM
